Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members.

Main duties of the job
The Role and TeamIf successful, you will lead and support a team of registered nurses and healthcare support workers delivering care across the SACT Outreach and Bloods Closer to Home services throughout Greater Manchester and Cheshire. The service currently operates across 12 locations, with further expansion anticipated in line with strategic service development and patient demand.The SACT Outreach and Bloods Closer to Home services operate Monday to Friday across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, including Bank Holidays. Future expansion may involve weekend working which you will be required to manage and oversee. As the service continues to grow, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting service expansion, contributing to the development and implementation of new SACT Outreach and Bloods closer to Home clinics, and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality patient care across all sites.Working closely with the Matron and Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for the operational management of the SACT Outreach and Bloods Closer to Home services. Main duties of the job
This is an exciting new opportunity to become a vital and proactive member of the clinical team within the practice, which includes GPs, Physician Associates, ANPs, Pharmacists, and Practice Nurses.
This role will include core General Practice hours and a regular rotation at Peterlee Health Centre to support the PCN Enhanced Access service and the primary care service, which forms part of the NHS 111 referral pathway. The service supports local practices between 1:00 pm and 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays.
Successful candidates will be required to assess and treat patients of all ages, from birth onwards, with no exceptions. Weekend working is an essential requirement of this role, and successful candidates will be expected to participate in the Saturday rota as part of their contracted duties.

Here at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, our Research Nurses recruit patients to studies via multiple local DGH teams as well as from within the Cancer Centre.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will coordinate and manage a clinical research portfolio, working collaboratively with the NIHR Clinical Research Network/ENHT and multidisciplinary teams to support patients participating in clinical trials. Responsibilities include screening and identifying eligible patients, maintaining detailed knowledge of study protocols, supporting recruitment in outpatient and inpatient settings, monitoring patient progress, and collecting accurate clinical trial data.

Senior Clinical Assessor/Navigator - Part time - 30 hours per week
The newly created Digital Health Service will be responsible for the clinical assessment and monitoring of Hospital at home patients alongside the senior clinical assessment and care navigation of the acutely unwell adult that has been referred via the Urgent Single Point of Access.
The Senior Clinical Assessor/Navigator role will have dual function:
Care Navigation and identification of clinical service for any acutely unwell adult referred
Clinically assess and offer digital remote monitoring of Hospital at home patients upon the green caseload, identifying deterioration and managing escalation to the Senior Clinicians in VW
The role will require clinical skills of assessment, alongside the ability to utilise digital equipment and telephony systems to support the role within the Digital Health Service.
Main duties of the job
Collaborate with referring HCP and provide the appropriate delivery of patient care and clinical and professional advice that will result in effective navigation of the patient to the appropriate service
Develop clinical skills in the assessment of acutely ill patients via the Digital, remote technology.
Provide the delivery of evidence based nursing care by providing expert clinical assessment, care planning, care delivery, care evaluation and clinical advice in accordance with NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
The post holder will work as part of the Digital Hub team and after accepting the referral will ensure that the correct triage tool is utilised to support effective care navigation to identified services within Stockport. The service Standard Operating Procedure will be adhered to alongside use of the Directory of Service DOS
The post holder will ensure the patient is navigated to the correct department and team ensuring electronic records are contemporaneously completed and referral is accurately transferred.
The post holder will be responsible for direct bookable appointments into identified services via Adastra and be compliant with the protocol and guideline for its use.
If appropriate will signpost the referrer or patient to appropriate alternative services.

Main duties of the job
Assisting the nursing staff in maintaining a safe environment and delivering a high standard of patient care.
You will be trained to achieve a high level of practical skills for use within the Emergency Department. It is anticipated that you will be capable of undertaking the following duties: baseline observations, ECG recording, cardiac monitoring, venepuncture, cannulation, and basic life support.
You will also gain experience in wound care and closure techniques, application of support/splintage (under instruction from registered nurse), urinalysis, pregnancy testing, and assisting patients with mobility, nutrition, hygiene, and comfort.
In addition to the various clinical skills you will be expected to learn the basic layout and the functioning of medical equipment.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 6 Clinical Research Nurse, to join our Children's Clinical Research Facility (CCRF) at St Mary's Hospital on a one-year secondment. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to get involved with delivering clinical research throughout children's and neonatal services at Imperial.
The successful applicant for this post will be part of a first-class team of research delivery staff, who manage our ongoing neonatal studies. This role will support the Children Clinical Research Facility with the set up and delivery of Neonatal and Paediatric studies. The post-holder will be involved in ensuring that any research undertaken within the department safeguards patients' well-being and is conducted in accordance with ICH Good Clinical Practice Guidelines for Research.
Previous experience in relevant clinical fields would be highly desirable but is not essential as long as the applicant has a strong foundation of clinical skills in neonatal and paediatric care. The role will be supported with all the necessary training required to ensure patient safety and compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) to the highest level of excellence. Experience in clinical research is desirable.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will support the aims of the Trust and the NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research) in developing both clinical and academic research knowledge and skills to improve the speed, quality and integration of clinical research in the NHS.
- The focus of the role will be to provide a grounding in clinical practice and an academic framework conducting research particularly into children's respiratory and allergy conditions.
- Act as a recognised expert and professional role model within the clinical research environment, including direct and indirect clinical care, teaching, audit and research projects, which will involve managing a wide range of complex and sometime conflicting priorities.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the research environment to support the delivery and development of research portfolios in order to take responsibility for the co-ordination and management of clinical research projects. This will include: the identification of suitable participants, co-ordination, recruitment, performance and maintenance of study documentation; enabling patients to make informed choices concerning their involvement in clinical trials by providing advice, information and acting as the patients advocate.

Job summary
The main chemotherapy unit plus our teenage/young adult area are based within the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. We also offer a community based service at two satellite centres in Bristol - one in South Bristol Community Hospital in Hengrove, and the other in Concord Medical Centre in Bradley Stoke. Staff will be expected to work between the main unit at BHOC and at least one of the satellite units.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and experienced candidate to join our team as a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse. We open 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday across all of our sites. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals receiving systemic anti-cancer treatments in a busy outpatient setting.
Main duties of the job
As a senior member of the nursing team you will be responsible for coordinating the day to day running of the unit, ensuring the safe delivery of SACT in line with national and local policies. You will act as a clinical role model, providing leadership, support and supervision to junior staff while promoting a culture of continuous learning, quality improvement and compassionate care. You will deliver complex patient care, manage unwell patients and treatment-related toxicities, provide patient education and support, and contribute to service expansion and development.
The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with post-registration experience in oncology/haematology or chemotherapy services, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding care. UK SACT competency and experience in mentoring or supervising staff are essential for this role.

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, assertive and compassionate individual who is ready to take up this challenge in a very busy Same Day emergency Care Unit. The post holder will provide hands on care within the unit working under indirect supervision to gain proficiency in all areas of same-day emergency care. The Ambulatory Care centre is a modern Clinical Facility which opened at the end of 2016. It houses 17 reclining chairs and 3 trolleys with 3 consultation rooms.
Main duties of the job
The SDEC treats adult patients with medical conditions who need same-day emergency treatment that does not require an overnight stay. Patients are referred from A&E, by their GP and from other medical wards. Patients treated in the unit means they have same day care avoiding long waiting times in ED and an admission. The service includes scheduled bloods tests, routine X-ray's and ultrasound, with results reviewed the same day by specialist SDEC Consultants.
The Ward Manager leads a team of staff equipped with acute medical skills and a Matron who oversees the unit.

The Mildred Creak Unit is a children's inpatient mental health unit situated within The Psychological and Mental Health Services at Great Ormond Street Hospital in the heart of London. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to work within our dynamic multidisciplinary team. Our model of working is based on the Therapeutic Milieu. Previous experience in CAMHS is essential for this challenging and very rewarding role. You will be required to work within a team of dedicated nurses and a wide variety of other disciplines. Good communication and organisational skills are essential, as is experience with this patient group.
Main duties of the job
Supporting a structured routine for the young people offers containment to the family and young person, mirroring this we recognise the benefit a structured timetable offers to staff so in place we offer weekly meetings at 2pm, which include nurse led teaching, group discussion, MDT meetings, monthly team reflective meetings and a weekly facilitated nurse support meeting.
We believe that every interaction with a young person is an opportunity to be therapeutic. Recognising the impact of the work, alongside the weekly reflective group meetings we support monthly individual supervision.Offering greater autonomy to the nurses, provides young people with greater collaboration and empowerment opportunities in their treatment journey.
The role involves supporting junior nursing staff and encouraging their development, this includes staff nurses from child and mental health backgrounds, experienced therapeutic care workers and healthcare assistants.
