An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly, supportive, and forward-thinking team at Peel House Medical Practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who shares our commitment to delivering high quality patient care, and who has the interest and energy to join with us to provide excellent standards of service for our patients.
We require 37.5 hours a week of Practice nursing time and will consider full time and part-time application requests.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player who strives to deliver a high standard of care. You will have experience in general practice Nursing duties, including cervical cytology, childhood immunisations, spirometry and managing long-term conditions. It is desirable that you have good knowledge of chronic disease management including, diabetes, asthma, and COPD. A comprehensive knowledge of QOF would be an advantage but not essential. We are not an agenda for change practice, but our salaries, annual leave and sickness absence pay are competitive.

Strong leadership and performance management is an integral aspect of this Band 7 role with patient experience and patient safety underpinning all care delivery. You will be responsible for co-ordination of the units on a shift to shift basis managing the nursing establishment, attendance, appraisals, mandatory training and competency assessments. Why you should join our TeamThe Leeds Neonatal Service delivers care to over 1400 babies per year. We have a Neonatal Unit at LGI and SJUH and together can care for 48 patient's cross city. These cots are a mixture of Intensive, High Dependency, Special and Surgical Care. With LGI providing the level 3 intensive, high dependency and special care. We also have a 12 bedded Transitional Care Unit on the St James's Hospital Site and 2 Transitional care cots integrated into the post-natal ward on the Leeds General Infirmary Site.
Current service comprise 64 cots cross city. The role requires management of approximately 170 whole time equivalent nurses and support staff in partnership with the Lead Nurses and Matrons for the Service. The jobholder will coordinate the units on a shift by shift basis. The job holder will work cross city and will be expected to cover a 24/7 shift system.

Surgery Division - Critical Care Unit
The Critical Care Unit here at Bolton is looking to recruit hard working Health Care Assistant to work in our Critical Care Unit.
The Surgery Division includes emergency and elective surgery including specialities general surgery, breast, ENT, urology, orthopaedics, ophthalmology and rheumatology. This is inclusive of theatres and the Critical Care Unit. This makes for a varied division of services with a common focus of providing safe and effective patient care.

Main duties of the job
Successful candidates will be expected to provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, whilst being supported by our dynamic multi disciplinary team.
Critical Care is an 18 bedded unit caring for level 2 and level 3 patients from a variety of specialties. The unit undertakes long days with an internal rotation to night duty.
You will have a supernumerary period to support you in your induction. You will be guided and supported with many of our multidisciplinary team members including medical staff, outreach, physio, dietician etc.
Staff are supported during each of their shifts by an excellent team of nurses and each day is led by a band 7 team leader to further support staff and decision making within the unit. With the help of our supportive teams we can facilitate a safe and comfortable transition for new and exciting learning and development. We have a designated practice educator nurse for Critical Care who supports new staff and ensures all staff are up to date with competencies and skills training.

The Digital Training Officer role is key in the provision of the delivery in digital training courses, adopting a blended approach to meet the needs and learning styles of the workforce across Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust.
The Digital Training Team provides a progressive and responsive service, ensuring a consistent approach to training delivery, access to training and sharing of best practice. The adaptable approach of team members is an essential element in supporting the Trust in implementing their Digital Strategy.

Job summary
The post holder will work as part of the Central Lancashire Sexual Health Services Team in Preston and its surrounding areas and will assess, plan, and provide sexual health advice, screening, and treatment (including contraception) to patients in a supportive confidential environment, recognising when to refer a problem onto a doctor or Specialist Nurse within the service.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Band 7 Clinical Specialist Nurse within our Durham and Darlington Children's and Young People Eating Disorder Team.
