Job summary
Our work in Core Neighbourhoods is at the very heart of Stockport Neighbourhood Care. Services will be offered seven days a week to help people remain healthy and build independence. The aim being that the "right care is delivered to the right people at the right time".We are looking for a flexible, innovative practitioner with a variety of clinical skills. The District Nursing Service provides care in patients' homes as well as residential homes caring for patients with complex needs and supporting carers.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will work with the Community Nurses and other multidisciplinary teams with the support of Mastercall GPs, to provide a first class service to the residents of Stockport.
We are looking for a flexible, innovative practitioner with a variety of clinical skills. The District Nursing Service provides care in patients' homes as well as residential homes caring for patients with complex needs and supporting carers.
The post holder should have good organisational and assessment skills be flexible and willing to cover the service between 08:00 - 18:00 over a 7 day period.
Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across Stockport and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. Where possible, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act

Working from purpose-built premises, we are an established training practice rated Good with CQC, with the use of SystmOne computer system looking after over 12,000 patients in Billericay.
Main duties of the job

UHCWS Level III Neonatal Unit provides a wide range of services to sick newborn babies and forms part of the West Midlands Perinatal Network . The unit strives to provides family centered care to a range of babies from those born extremely prematurely around 22 weeks gestation to term babies who are sick at birth. We offer therapies such as Nitric Oxide, Cooling and ROP laser surgery using state of the art, new equipment.
UHCW neonatal unit looks after up to 8 Intensive care cots, 8 High dependency cots, 14 Special care cots and 6 Transitional care cots. We have a LMNS Outreach service, a large AHP team and a psychological and counselling service for families and staff. The unit has been accredited as Baby Friendly by Unicef for the excellent practice in the support of infant feeding and parent-infant relationships. We have also been awarded our Silver Bliss award. In our last reported CQC inspection (2018) UHCW was rated as good.

Job description Job responsibilities UHCWS Level III Neonatal Unit provides a wide range of services to sick newborn babies and forms part of the West Midlands Perinatal Network . The unit strives to provides family centered care to a range of babies from those born extremely prematurely around 22 weeks gestation to term babies who are sick at birth. We offer therapies such as Nitric Oxide, Cooling and ROP laser surgery using state of the art, new equipment. UHCW neonatal unit looks after up to 8 Intensive care cots, 8 High dependency cots, 14 Special care cots and 6 Transitional care cots. We have a LMNS Outreach service, a large AHP team and a psychological and counselling service for families and staff. The unit has been accredited as Baby Friendly by Unicef for the excellent practice in the support of infant feeding and parent-infant relationships. We have also been awarded our Silver Bliss award. In our last reported CQC inspection (2018) UHCW was rated as good. Over the years the unit has built an excellent reputation for high quality healthcare and outstanding career development. Job summary
The post holder will work as part of the East Sexual Health Services Team in Burnley and its surrounding areas and will assess, plan, and provide sexual health advice, screening, and treatment (including contraception) to patients in a supportive confidential environment, recognising when to refer a problem onto a doctor or Specialist Nurse within the service.

Shore Medical are looking for an experienced and compassionate Complaints Officer to join our supportive team for a 9-month fixed-term period. Main duties of the job
To have a management role which includes the management of Safeguarding Specialist Midwives.
To work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team and partner agencies to ensure that babies and their families who come into contact with services at BCUHB are safeguarded.
Together with members of the Safeguarding Team, contribute to the Health Board's safeguarding policies, procedures and strategies.
Actively participate and lead on quality assurance processes, audits and report writing in accordance with the safeguarding agenda.
To give obstetric and maternity safeguarding assurance to the Director of Safeguarding and Public Protection and North Wales Safeguarding Board as requested.
To contribute in line with BCUHB responsibilities relating to the Single Unified Safeguarding Review (SUSR) process, ensuring recommendations are implemented and audited.
Ensure that BCUHB meets its statutory obligation to safeguard and promote the welfare of all unborn babies, children, young people and vulnerable pregnant women who access services within BCUHB.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner/ Therapy Assistant to join the Mersey Regional Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Therapy Team at Whiston hospital.
The successful candidate will work alongside Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists providing care for patients from Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales, Isle of Man and beyond in one of the largest units in the UK.
You will work as part of a friendly, supportive therapy team who continuously strive to provide high-quality person-centred care to both in patients and outpatients following a burn injury or those that have required plastic surgery due to trauma or elective surgery. Many of our patients will have experienced a life changing event.

Main duties of the job
You will be required to manage a caseload independently and take responsibility for providing assessment and treatment of patients with a variety of medical conditions. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, hardworking and able to demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, prioritisation and time management skills. Manual handling is an important component of the role.
The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to work and be able to adapt to meet the demands of our 7-day service. Applicants may be expected to travel within the regional catchment area to support the patient's transition back into the community.
Administrative duties including photocopying, computer data entry and IT literacy skills are essential.

KEY DUTIES
- Acknowledging a patients attendance at the desk within 2/3 minutes of arrival and advise any patients queueing for appointments of the self-check-in service.
- Advising patients waiting for information that you will be with them as soon as possible and to call for assistance where necessary.
- Observing appointments and clinics that are running late and advise patients waiting and offer apologies.
- Dealing with all general enquiries, explaining procedures and making new and follow-up appointments using the EMIS system.
