Job summary
We are looking for skilled Bank Nurses to join the James Paget Hospital
To assess basic and specialist care needs of patients and implement without direct supervision. The Nurse should at all times act in such a manner as to justify public trust and confidence to safeguard the interest of individual patients
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs and thedevelopment implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.Ensure that agreed standards of nursing practice within the ward/department area are maintained.Ensure that all Trust, Divisional, and Ward/Department Health & Safety Policies are adhered to.Maintain personal contact with patients, other health care disciplines, relatives and visitors.Mentorship support of new staff.Mentorship/support of student nurses.To undertake appropriate enhanced roles, following the necessary training, e.g. IV drug administration, ECG recording.Ensure safe custody and administration of drugs, in accordance with Trust Policy.

Job summary
Are you a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse looking for your next challenge? Ward 15 at UHCW is seeking an experienced Band 5 Paediatric Nurse who has completed their preceptorship programme to join our dedicated and supportive team.
Ward 15 is a 17 bedded ward, where staff care for babies aged 0-2 years, requiring a range of medical and surgical interventions.. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, delivering safe, effective care while supporting patients and their families throughout their hospital journey.
We are looking for a nurse who demonstrates excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. In return, we offer a welcoming team, opportunities for professional development and the chance to work within one of the UK's largest teaching hospital Trusts.
Please note this post is not suitable for applicants who are required to undertake the OSCE training programme. Applicants who do not have current valid UK NMC registration will not be considered for this post.

Main duties of the job
- Accountable for own actions in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct. Will contribute to corporate objectives, acting within local, Trust and statutory guidelines and policies at all times.

Main duties of the job
As a Senior Substance Misuse Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, prioritising patient care to develop individualised packages of care through comprehensive assessment and recovery planning
- Deliver a range of treatment options including clinical and psychosocial interventions in both a group and 1-1 setting with recovery at the centre of our healthcare wellbeing model
- Be able to carry out comprehensive assessments, initiate and review individual recovery plans and confidently communicate the full range of treatment options available to service users.
- Monitor therapeutic responses to medication and potential side effects and liaise with prescribers. You will work with individuals, on a 1-1 basis, providing advice and information
- Support in group work delivery and liaise with prescribers and Recovery Practitioners on clinical interventions. You will occasionally be required to support dispensing
- Have an understanding and commitment to recovery and a person centred approach.

Main duties of the job
As a registered children's nurse, with post preceptorship experience in the UK, you will support the Fracture clinic team in all areas of the adult clinic - including the trauma clinics, elective clinics, plaster rooms and virtual fracture clinic. Providing a high standard of care to children, young persons and adults.
Support the plaster technicians in the adult & children's plaster rooms and in delivering the plaster room outreach service across the inpatient areas. Develop your skills in various plastering techniques and attend the British Orthopaedic Casting Course to achieve the British Casting Certificate qualification.
Act as point of contact for any concerns relating to paediatric patients in the adult environment e.g. medication, safeguarding, wound management and treatments.
Work with the team using UHCWi methodology to continuously improve the services provided.
Take responsibility for the co-ordination of shifts - communicating with patients, carers, staff and the wider multidisciplinary team on the day to ensure the smooth running of clinics and patient pathways.

Job summary
The post holder will support the day-to-day management, use and development of the Trust's patient safety and governance system (DCIQ). This includes supporting incident management, complaints, risk and assurance reporting so that information is recorded accurately, managed consistently and used to improve patient safety.
Working as part of the Patient Safety Team, the post holder will provide specialist support for system administration, data quality, LFPSE compliance, risk management and governance reporting. Main duties of the job
Provide specialist administration and day-to-day support for the patient safety system and associated governance modules.

Maintain system forms, workflows, alerts, user access, role profiles and reports in line with agreed governance arrangements.
Support system testing, upgrades and new functionality, working with the system supplier and Trust Digital Services as needed.

Promote accurate reporting, shared learning and a just and learning safety culture through consistent system use.
Support the effective use and maintenance of the patient safety system across Care Groups and Corporate Directorates.

Job summary
This role encompasses both face to face and telephone on the day appointments. On occasion you may be asked to cover home visits for patients who are housebound and unable to visit the surgery. The post holder will make decisions and apply appropriate clinical interventions to the presenting patient in the surgery or their own home. This included initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
The post holder will work autonomously, within the Practices policies, protocols and guidelines and to demonstrate safe clinical decision making. The post holder will have access to the duty team at all times, during both clinics and home visits for advice and support.

Job summary
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to the role of Staff Nurse - Specialist School Nursing within a full time role, located at Cedar House, within our St. Michael's Community Hospital site within the Specialist School Nursing team. The weekly hours for this role will be agreed at interview.
The postholder will undertake clinical duties as required and be able to facilitate training and education for parents and school staff. They will be based in either 1 or 2 special schools and will provide support to CYP with medical or health needs. They will manage the health care support worker (HCSW) and support them with developing skills and assisitning the B5 in caseload management.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual, with an interest in special school nursing. The post holder will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team. He/she will provide child/family centered care with minimum supervision to facilitate the prevention of admission or reduction in hospitalisation or loss of education days. The post holder will work as part of the SSN Nursing Team with support from the SSN manager and band 6 Nursing Team. Will contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation of evidence-based care to children and work in a collaborative manner with other agencies to ensure a seamless service for the children.
The post holder will work in line with Trust policies, protocols, objectives, and local guidelines, whilst also being aware of the importance of their role in supporting members of the team, always adhering to the Trust values, and practicing in line with NMC regulations. He/ she will act as an effective clinical support for students.
They will be responsible for the assessment of everyday healthcare needs, the development and implementation of health care plans or intervention programmes, ensuring that health care oplans are updated as necessary and suitable for use by education staff.

Job summary
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will respond to urgent referrals, carrying out rapid specialist palliative care assessments for patients in their own home, developing immediate care/ support plans in relation to patients urgent and unaddressed specialist palliative care needs. The Rapid Response Service responds to unplanned community palliative care referrals across the Staffordshire St Giles Hospice catchment area. The service currently operates seven days a week between 08:00 and 20:00, with phase two extending provision to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.The second phase of the Rapid Response Service will entail on a virtual ward comprising 20 virtual beds for patients across our St Giles Staffordshire catchment and in support of our neighbouring hospices.
Main duties of the job
The role will provide clinical assessment, supporting the management of complex care pathways, contributing to audit and service development, and providing staff supervision in line with organisational and professional standards. Referrals may be received from 111/999, GPs, allied health professionals, community, hospice, acute and virtual ward teams, as well as directly from patients, families and carers.
The post holder will work flexibly in the delivery of specialist palliative care and support to patients, families, and carers in the place they consider to be home across the St Giles catchment area, with sensitivity to their changing physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs, including action within two hours of urgent referral acceptance where required.
To provide rapid access to specialist assessment, advice, and care, working collaboratively with existing care providers and initiating referrals to additional services where these will enhance patient and family support. To communicate, coordinate, and liaise with the patients usual care team, including GPs, District Nurses, and other palliative care services, ensuring timely updates on patient condition, identified needs, and any significant changes, while maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records.
Working autonomously and in collaboration with internal colleagues, along with other community, primary care, acute and virtual ward colleagues, the post holder will support.

Job summary
Our School Nursing team is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme 5-19 years to the children, young people and families of Herefordshire.
You will work as a key member of the School Nursing team and you will gain the experience of working in the community, in partnership with children, young people, families, education and other partner agencies.
You must have a strong public health interest and be fully committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our children, young people and their families.
Within School Nursing there are lots of opportunities for development and there is a robust support package available, which includes clinical, restorative and safeguarding supervision.

Main duties of the job
- To promote and facilitate the physical, mental and emotional health of children, young people (5-19 years school age children and young people) and families.
- To work in partnership with all service users, members of the multidisciplinary team both internal and external to the Trust and ensure continuity of care to children, young people and their families.
- Work within the 5-19 pathway to deliver planned programmes of care under the direction of the School Nurse. This will involve onward referrals as required.
- Act as a practice supervisor/ assessor for pre-registration student nurses
- To assist the Duty Clinician in the duty desk with the administration of incoming clinical correspondence and allocation of referrals on a rotational basis.
- Review the A+E attendances that come into the service and follow up with parents/carers any A+E attendances and give advice as per the School Nursing standard. Refer any children that are enhanced and attended A+E to the named School Nurse.
- To actively support the appraisals for staff in band 4 and below.
- To assist in the recruitment and selection of staff into the team and to participate in the induction and orientation programmes for new staff members, this may include preceptorship support for newly qualified staff nurses.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated, innovative and experienced Nursing Head of Service to join the divisional leadership team of the Children's Community Nursing within the Community Care division.
The Clinical Head of Service will demonstrate strong professional clinical leadership and provide specialist clinical advice across the services within their portfolio. Acting in support of the Divisional and Deputy Divisional AHP/Nurse Directors, the post holder will be a member of the divisional leadership team and work as a triumvirate with the other AHP Clinical Heads of Service and the Operational Head of Service.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
As a Substance Misuse Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, prioritising patient care to develop individualised packages of care through comprehensive assessment and recovery planning
- Deliver a range of treatment options including clinical and psychosocial interventions in both a group and 1-1 setting with recovery at the centre of our healthcare wellbeing model
- Be able to carry out comprehensive assessments, initiate and review individual recovery plans and confidently communicate the full range of treatment options available to service users.
- Monitor therapeutic responses to medication and potential side effects and liaise with prescribers. You will work with individuals, on a 1-1 basis, providing advice and information
- Support in group work delivery and liaise with prescribers and Recovery Practitioners on clinical interventions. You will occasionally be required to support dispensing

Critical care at Wirral Hospital is seeking registered nurses who are looking for the chance to deliver a truly holistic caring experience for their patients.
This opportunity will allow you the chance to care for 18 critically ill patients , from all medical and surgical specialities . Once you have developed your skills you can have the opportunity to work with the rehabilitation, follow - up and outreach teams.
Critical Care knowledge and experience is desirable.

We are looking for Staff Nurses with a minimum of 1 year Acute ward experience. This post is not suitable for newly qualified staff.
Main duties of the job
- Act as Critical care nurse following completion and assessment of critical care training.
- Act as preceptor and supervisor to junior colleagues and unqualified support staff.
- Carries out specialised nursing duties following completion of supplemented training
- Participates in the rotation of all areas of critical care, as service needs require.
- Acts as a specialist core team member working a high proportion of shifts out of hours.

We are expanding our nursing team!
Poplar Adolescent Unit is a general acute ward with 14 beds supporting young people aged 13-18 with a variety of mental health issues.
Poplar Adolescent unit is an innovative service with an MDT passionate in developing nurses. We can provide further CAMHS training via our CAMHS preceptorship programme and opportunities for further development in our award winning DBT programme, ASD and more.
This post would suit someone who is passionate about young people's mental health, and working in an innovative way at the forefront of NHS services.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work as a member of our multi- disciplinary team involved in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents who access our services.
This will involve key working young people and supporting them on their recovery journey. You will work collaboratively with the young people to develop care plans, risk assessments and positive behaviour support plans, contributing to expanding the resources young people and their family need to support care in the community.
You may be required to support the therapies team with our therapeutic timetable, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your psychological skills.
Additionally you will be required to advocate for your patients in meetings both internally and externally to ensure they are receiving evidence based, valued care.
We care for young people with a variety of mental health issues and the post would best suit someone who is able to work as part of a team, caring for young people experiencing, at times, a significant amount of distress.
