Job summary
We are recruiting for Registered Practitioner - Theatres who share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
Our service now includes admission and recovery of elective patients and a continued emergency service for the Trust. Our team works 24/7, 365 days a year. As part of a rotation with other team members, you'll be expected to work evenings, nights, on calls, Bank Holidays, and weekends.
This role is within Theatres, there is an expectation to be rotated across all theatre areas including the QE2 to assist and care for patients undergoing a variety of elective (Vascular, Orthopaedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynae, Obstetrics, Plastics, Robotics, ENT, Oral Surgery, Ophthalmology, General Surgery) and Emergency procedures.
Candidates invited to interview will also be asked to participate in a practical element as part of the selection process. This practical element will test theatre knowledge and practice.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will receive, transfer and position patients for clinical procedure.
You will be responsible for preparing the Theatre for surgery and preparing sterile equipment/ supplies and keep waste to a minimum.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparation, safe use, decontamination, troubleshooting and reporting of faulty complex equipment.
You will need to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and be flexible to be able to work in any of the Theatre areas according to service needs.
You will also need to work on-call and out of hours working, regardless of the department you are based in, to provide emergency access to our most acutely ill patients.

We are recruiting to a Nurse Associate at Bridgnorth Community Hospital.
This role is to provide holistic and person centred care and support for people of all ages and in a variety of settings. You will work independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working to their nationally recognised code of conduct and Standards of Proficiency for Nursing Associates.
Main duties of the job
To communicate effectively, with sensitivity and compassion, and to manage relationships with people, making reasonable adjustments where necessary.
To contribute to the establishment of an ethos of modern, customer orientated services and translate that into a culture of effective patient/user centred delivery meeting the individual needs of patients and their carer's.
To ensure that care provided is effective through careful assessment of patients' condition and circumstances, appropriate planning and delivery of care and regular evaluation of achievement of care objectives, escalating patient care concerns, and working under the leadership of registered nurses at all times.

The post also includes maintaining ECTAS accreditation and working within these guidelines, ensuring the adherence to legal frameworks and both local and national policies.
The post holder will support service development, provide supervision and support junior staff whilst maintaining accurate clinical records. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead our student midwives at Newham University hospital Barts Health NHS Trust. You will join the existing post holders at Newham Hospital to support the delivery of student midwife education to enable the provision of compassionate high quality clinical care in Barts Health.

The individual will work collaboratively and strategically with the Practice Development Midwife and the education team, maternity lecturers in linked HEI's, the Trust Education team and the senior midwifery team to ensure clinical teaching is of the highest standard. The post holder must be an effective communicator able to confidently deliver lectures and presentations. They must have the skills to support midwives in facilitating student learning in practice. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic Staff Nurse to join the progressive and dedicated Day Surgery Services team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust, based on Day of Surgery at the Poole site for 34.5 hours per week.
Day of Surgery incorporates an Admission and Day Surgery services.
The service is currently open Mon to Fri 07:00-20:00 with plans to make this a six day service and extend opening times 22:00.The successful candidate will be responsible for admitting and preparing patients for theatre ensuring that local policy is adhered to, caring for patients post-operatively and discharging patients under the nurse led discharge criteria. Once in post, they will be a key stakeholder in the development and expansion of the Day Surgery Service with the ultimate aim of enhancing the patient's experience.
The successful candidate will require significant experience within general surgical/orthopaedic nursing; have excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining and developing high standards. A friendly and patient-centred approach is vital to this exciting role. Previous experience in a Day Surgery setting is not essential as there is an opportunity for further training in this field, although a surgical background is preferred.

What will you be doing?As a Senior Social Worker, you will manage a complex and varied caseload and support less experienced colleagues through mentoring and modelling best practice.

Job summary
The LAS ST4 doctor will work in the community team for adults with intellectual disability and mental illness and/or significant challenging behaviour within the London borough of Lambeth. Job summary
We are looking for a highly organised, compassionate and resilient individual to join the NHS Children and Young People's Gender Service (London) as a Patient Pathway Co-ordinator.
The service supports children and young people with a range of individual needs and experiences, including those who are questioning their gender. Care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team working closely with children and young people, their families and carers, local healthcare professionals and partner organisations.
This is an important and sensitive administrative role. The Patient Pathway Co-ordinator will help ensure that children and young people move through the service safely and efficiently, from receipt of referral through the different stages of their pathway. Responsibilities will include coordinating appointments, monitoring pathway progress, maintaining accurate patient information, supporting multidisciplinary meetings and helping to ensure that information is shared appropriately and promptly.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate an understanding of the specific needs of children and young people accessing the service, including those who are questioning their gender. Previous experience in a gender service is not required, but candidates must be able to show how their experience, knowledge and approach would enable them to support this patient group appropriately.
