Main duties of the job
At The New Foscote Hospital, the Registered Nurse/ODP will assist the delivery of the care provision within the Operating Department.
This is a skilled area, requiring attention to detail, technological knowledge, knowledge of anatomy and physiology , and importantly excellent communication skills, compassion and empathy and respect for patient dignity.

Job responsibilities
- To assist the Theatre Manager and Deputy Theatre Manager in the delivery, standards and management of patient care within the theatre.
- Provide skilled assistance to the surgeons

Main duties of the job
At The New Foscote Hospital, the Registered Nurse/ODP will assist the Anaesthetist to support the delivery of the care provision within the Operating Department.
Anaesthesia is a skilled area, requiring attention to detail, technological knowledge, knowledge of anatomy and physiology and pharmacology, and importantly excellent communication skills, compassion and empathy and respect for patient dignity. The Post Anaesthetic Recovery (PAR) is the final stage in patients perioperative journey and employs a one-to-one practitioner to patient ratio.
