Job summary
The Mechanical Estates Officer is a technical specialist role providing Authorised Person cover and specialist technical assurance for the Trust's mechanical building services. The post holder does not hold formal line management responsibility; instead, they provide technical leadership, mentoring and hands-on expertise to Operations trade staff and contractors working within mechanical disciplines.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will act as Authorised Person for one or more mechanical specialisms (for example heating and ventilation, water safety, medical gas pipeline systems, or pressurised systems) as determined by service need and individual competency sign-off, supporting the Senior Mechanical Manager in ensuring mechanical systems remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose across all Trust sites.The role contributes technical expertise to planned and reactive maintenance, capital and small works interfaces, and the Trust's Integrated Management System (IMS), working closely with the Operations team, contractors and specialist suppliers.

We have an exciting opportunity for two Community Staff Nurses to join our service in a new and innovative role working across our seven locality teams.
This role offers a different way of working, with a particular focus on supporting Healthcare Assistants to deliver high-quality care in patients' homes. Key areas of work include long-term condition reviews, phlebotomy, continence assessments and promoting patient independence to prevent hospital admission and support timely discharge.
Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, you will be expected to demonstrate initiative, embrace new ways of working and contribute to the delivery of safe, effective, patient-centred care. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced nurses and offer excellent opportunities for training and professional development.
The service operates across a 7-day working pattern.
Main duties of the job
- To contribute to processes for service and quality improvement
- Assess the physical and psycho-social needs of patients and delivertherapeutic interventions based on best available evidence in order to improve health outcomes.
- To manage own case load, delivering and evaluating service delivery to patients with a variety of medical conditions and those delegated by case managers.
- To plan interventions with the Case Manager and other team members using the common assessment process
- To take part in the referral management process to ensure patients are treated by the most appropriate member of the team/service
- To contribute to the development of protocols and procedures developed for clinical pathways

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Community Nursery Nurse to work with a dynamic and friendly team of Health Visitors. NNEB, Diploma in Childcare and Education (CACHE) or NVQ Child Care Level 3 Qualification is required.
Main duties of the job
- Working with clients in a variety of community settings e.g. home, clinic, children's centre, educational establishment etc
- Advise and assist parents in developing their parenting skills. Report back to the senior member of staff who holds continuing responsibility for the family any problems or changes identified during work undertaken with a client.
- Undertake Family Health Needs Assessment as directed by the Health Visitor ensuring prompt feedback of all client contact (contemporaneously) to line manager.
- Working with the team to implement and prioritise planned programmes of health promotion, education and advice on all aspects of prevention of ill health to individuals, families and groups.
- Undertake child and or family health assessments, including screening, in line with the Healthy Child Programme and according to local guidelines in various community settings as required, reporting back on any ensuing health problems.
- Take appropriate action in cases of suspected or actual child abuse, working within Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Children Code of Practice and Procedures.
- Attend Child Protection Conferences/Core Groups as required, with the named Health Visitor
