Job summary
The Mechanical Estates Officer is a technical specialist role providing Authorised Person cover and specialist technical assurance for the Trust's mechanical building services. The post holder does not hold formal line management responsibility; instead, they provide technical leadership, mentoring and hands-on expertise to Operations trade staff and contractors working within mechanical disciplines.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will act as Authorised Person for one or more mechanical specialisms (for example heating and ventilation, water safety, medical gas pipeline systems, or pressurised systems) as determined by service need and individual competency sign-off, supporting the Senior Mechanical Manager in ensuring mechanical systems remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose across all Trust sites.The role contributes technical expertise to planned and reactive maintenance, capital and small works interfaces, and the Trust's Integrated Management System (IMS), working closely with the Operations team, contractors and specialist suppliers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to work as a Staff Nurse based within theOutpatients Department at our Liverpool, Paddington and Aintree site. The post holder may be required to cross cover other CCC Outpatient sites depending on needs of service.
The post will provide support to the Outpatients Team and the wider multi-professional teams that run their clinics through the unit.
Excellent communication skills are essential
Through the Trust induction, eLearning and supportive buddy system within the unit we will support you in your new role to develop your knowledge, skills and competencies. We will also support continued professional development with access to further learning such as communication courses and clinical skills with support of our learning and development team and clinical education.
Main duties of the job
Provide support to Consultants and the wider medical teams, allied healthcare professionals and other members of the multi-professional team to deliver nursing care within the outpatient environment.
The Staff Nurse role will include:-
- assisting and coordinating the day to day running of services
- triage of patients
- wound care (when required)
- recognition and escalation acutely unwell patients
- supporting unwell patients waiting for external transfers
- providing hands-on care
- assisting and emotional support to patients and their relatives
- phlebotomy
- supporting with the management and escalation of complications of PICCs and Ports
- supporting in clinics
- observations
- urinalysis
- BM recording
- ECG recording
- preparation of clinics
- high standards of documentation and record keeping.
In the absence of the manager and deputy manager it would be the responsibility of the post holder to coordinate the team and support with staff and patient queries.

Due to investment in our education team we are looking for a high profile, accessible and responsive educator. A clinical expert, working as a member of the multi-professional team, providing and developing specialist services and advice who is able to make informed decisions within their own speciality and scope of professional practice to ensure agreed standards and objectives are met.
The post holder will be expected to provide clinical expertise and knowledge, demonstrating a sound understanding of the issues related to identification, assessment, treatment and management of the Neonate and the Neonatal service. The post holder will focus on supporting the Neonatal QIS nurses / Midwives in training. They will monitor and improve standards of education through clinical audit, evidence base practice, teaching and supporting professional colleagues and the provision of skilled professional leadership.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead on the following key areas:
- Supporting students on a neonatal clinical placement and be a first point of contact for assessors to offer guidance for issues relating to competence.
- To provide pastoral support and training to students
- To be conduit between the universities, students and clinical placements
- To continue to develop, support and evaluate cot side teaching within all areas of the Neonatal service.
- To ensure a yearly education plan is submitted for learning beyond registration funding or facilitate the submission of charity funding as applicable.
- Facilitating Qualified In Speciality (QIS) applications to University and Study time on the roster.
- Supporting QIS students and be a first point of contact for assessors to offer guidance for issues relating to competence.
- Ensuring that student placement is aligned to the allocations provided by the Practice Placement Coordinator and rostered to meet the NMC competencies.
- Support and lead if required with investigations of practice concerns / competency.

Shore Medical are looking for an experienced and compassionate Complaints Officer to join our supportive team for a 9-month fixed-term period. You'll play a key role in managing complaints across our six GP practices, ensuring patients and their families feel listened to and supported, while helping us learn from feedback and continuously improve our services.

Main duties of the job
As Complaints Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring complaints and concerns are handled fairly, sensitively and within required timescales across Shore Medical.

The post-holder will work as a senior specialist member of the safeguarding team, with support from the Head of Safeguarding Childre/Child at Risk and Director of Safeguarding and Public Protection. Main duties of the job

- be practising autonomously as an ACP within the designated speciality area to provide patient-centred clinical care. This will encompass the skills of advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis & treatment within an agreed scope of practice throughout the directorate.
- support new ways of working that emphasises a more efficient & patient-focused service, & will ensure the safe treatment, referral & discharge of patients with undifferentiated & undiagnosed presentations in their area.
- have responsibility for leading the on-going development of clinical practice & standards of care within the service, including the development of policies, procedures, protocols & guidelines in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.
