Main duties of the job
Provide clinical and operational leadership across the Maternity Assessment Unit (MAU) & Day Assessment Unit (DAU) ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based care.

Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, guidelines and care pathways in line with national maternity standards and organisational priorities.
Participate in the maternity manager on-call rota and provide leadership support across services as required.

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and experienced Midwife to join our Antenatal Clinic team as a Band 6 Antenatal Clinic Midwife. Job summary
We're seeking an experienced Paediatric senior nurse for an exciting opportunity in our busy Children's Emergency Department at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital in Brighton. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed, and able to work well under pressure, with a strong desire to enhance or develop their skills, within Emergency care
As part of a clinical team including Band 7 nurses, ED consultants, and the Matron for Children's Emergency Care, you will share responsibility for the department and you r individual teams. You will work clinically alongside nursing and medical staff, providing expertise and support. The role offers the chance to develop management and leadership skills within a diverse and supportive team.
As a Band 7 nurse, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating care programs, setting care standards for children and their families in the ED, and leading nursing colleagues. You will also collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
This clinical position requires you to work shifts, including nights and weekends, and includes management time for completing leadership duties throughout the year.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
The Bereavement Specialist Midwife will support the Bereavement Lead Midwife and wider multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, personalised and equitable care for women, birthing people and families experiencing pregnancy loss across University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.

Job summary
This is a key role in developing and maintaining high standards of care for women and birthing people who are developing, or at risk of developing mental health problems in pregnancy and the early post natal period. You will be joining a well-established service and you will be expected to work with the multidisplinary team within in the Perinatal Mental Health (PNMH) clinics.
You will have a high level of relevant expert knowledge and skills which you will use to manage, develop and lead care and care pathways and for pregnant and new mothers/birthing people with current or historic mental health needs. This role includes participation in the Manager on Call rota.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a highly experienced, diligent and motivated children's Emergency Department (CED) nurse, with an aptitude to deliver and support junior colleagues evidence based high quality care for children and young people.
The post holder will provide expert clinical care, using critical decision making skills to provide high quality care for children, young people and their families. They will ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients, families and staff, whilst meeting the emergency department clinical quality Indicators, KPI's and national performance targets as appropriate.
They will motivate, support and display overall exemplary professional leadership to the nursing and wider CED team.

Job summary
We are currently looking for Qualified Children's Nurses with post registration experience of working with children in a acute setting who would like to become part of the CED team.
We would also welcome applications from adult nurses with ED experience who can show paediatric experience in a an acute setting
The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital is a CQC rated 'Outstanding' regional, dedicated children's hospital located in Brighton overlooking the sea, next to the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

Main duties of the job
There is a full resuscitation room, minors/majors cubicles and a four bedded observation unit. We were the first children's ED in the country to have a dedicated sensory cubicle for children with additional needs.
This is your opportunity to work within the children's emergency nursing team and continue to develop your career. You will be working in a bright purpose built children's hospital with support from the children's nursing team and paediatric consultants. The CED team has a focus on multi-disciplinary learning in the department.
We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic, energetic children's nurses with a skill for prioritising, delivering and organising emergency patient care. You will have a proactive and positive approach, with evidence of excellent clinical, teaching , managerial and inter-personal skills to lead, work alongside and motivate our multi-disciplinary team.
