You will work in the Safeguarding Adult Team and in close partnership with the Safeguarding Children Team and the newly formed Complex Vulnerabilities Team, providing support and guidance to staff across the Trust in all matters pertaining to Safeguarding Adults.
Main duties of the job
The Associate Nurse for Safeguarding will work closely with the Lead Nurse for Safeguarding and Safeguarding Team members to:

Ensure that The Trust meets its statutory obligation to safeguard and promote the welfare of all adults who access services from any hospital site within the Trust.

Actively participate in all Safeguarding Training delivery for Safeguarding Adults training and PREVENT / WRAP, across all levels to all Trust staff, including provision of bespoke training and supporting the Safeguarding Team with safeguarding training development and review

Support the Safeguarding Team in the development and delivery of quality assurance processes, audits and report writing in accordance with The Safeguarding Adult agenda.

Support the Safeguarding Team in all aspects of the multi-agency Safeguarding Adult Agenda, as deemed appropriate. This may include deputising within forums and meetings as deemed appropriate.

An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Pain Management and Lead Nurse in Chronic Pain at Russells Hall Hospital.
The successful candidate must be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council, and be in possession of a teaching qualification e.g. SLAIP and be committed to delivering support and guidance to both inpatients and outpatients with regards to their pain management. The post holder will provide a key role in the delivery of Pain Management Services throughout the Trust. They will work within a multidisciplinary team within ward-based inpatients, out-patient clinics and pain management programmes.
The post holder will be actively involved in delivery of pain management in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of chronic pain conditions and its effect on Acute Pain is essential and they must have current experience in managing a team of staff and other resources.
Main duties of the job
- To lead and support the pain management service covering both outpatient and inpatient areas.
- To support delivery of specialist and skilled care of patients with acute and persistent pain demonstrating quality and expertise in all aspects of patient care reflective of the Trust objectives, vision and values.
- Lead the development of nursing practice in effective outpatient Pain Management, with the aim of improving and maintaining the quality of pain management through strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of the service.
- In collaboration with other members of the team and other key staff, the post holder will contribute to the day-to-day management of the service.
- At all times the practitioner will act as an advocate for patients and families, and will be a frontline advocate for the Trust.
- To provide clinical and professional leadership for the Pain service team ensuring that high standards of clinical practice are adhered to at all times.
- The practitioner will have extensive knowledge of pain management and be actively involved in the teaching and assessing of junior staff.
- The practitioner will be responsible for their own professional conduct in line with NMC or HCPC codes of conduct and will adhere to and understand all Trust and local policies and procedures.The practitioner will continue their own personal and professional development.
- The practitioner will participate in providing a 7-day pain service.

The post holder will facilitate the Clinical Governance/quality Management, to promote and establish the key principals of clinical governance within Community. The post holder will facilitatethe governance objectives and targets to ensure the delivery of a quality service. Main duties of the job
The Community Governance Facilitator will provide specialist governance, patient safety, risk management and quality improvement expertise to Community Services. The post holder will coordinate, monitor and evaluate governance processes, supporting services to deliver safe, effective and high-quality patient care.
The post holder will provide specialist advice and guidance on governance, risk management and patient safety matters, providing governance expertise to managers and clinical teams to identify risks, investigate incidents, monitor compliance and implement learning. They will analyse complex information from multiple sources, identify trends and provide assurance regarding quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
Working autonomously across Community Services working to national policy and providing advise across community services. We are seeking to recruit a Community Nurse Practitioner to provide and support the provision of high-quality patient care. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated practitioner to develop new ways of working. They will be integral in delivering community services in different ways across the localities. As a Community Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for the assessment of the health and clinical needs of the patient, to undertake consultations with patients as an autonomous practitioner using advanced clinical practice skills and own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, to prescribe where required, refer to other services and discharge patients.
Main duties of the job
A key part of the role will include making rapid clinical assessments of patients with undifferentiated conditions, making evidenced based treatment plans whilst aiming to ensure patients are cared for in the most appropriate place. As part of the Community Urgent Care ResponseTeam, the practitioner will be expected to respond to patients who are experiencing crisis within a 2 hour national target. You will be required to ensure delivery of high quality patient centered care measured by clinical effectiveness, patient safety and patient experience as well as meeting the key performance measures as required by the Trust.
This is an exciting role for the right candidate. You will be joining a developing and progressive service, giving you the opportunity to participate in the ongoing development of the team and the Clinical Hub. The successful candidates must have experience of service development and clinical leadership to ensure patients and their families receive timely, effective and supportive care. You will be managed and supported daily by the Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Hub Lead and Medical Lead as well as giving support to junior staff within the Dudley Clinical Hub.

This is an exciting time to be joining the Endoscopy Unit at the Dudley Group of Hospitals. We have a JAG accredited Endoscopy Unit which has recently undergone expansion and now includes 5 endoscopy procedure rooms, with a separate room in radiology for Fluroscopy assisted procedures. We are further expanding into a Community Diagnostics Centre based at the Corbett Hospital site where we will be undertaking diagnostics and additional services such as cytosponge and Trans-nasal Endoscopy. We are now advertising for Staff Nurses, Band 5 to support the set up our community diagnostics services. The successful applicant will be working closely alongside the Endoscopy Nursing Team, Endoscopists , and the Decontamination Team, ensuring our patients receive a high quality of safe, compassionate and effective care during their Endoscopy Journey. As part of the Team, you will help to maintain the JAG Gold Standards for Endoscopy Services, and retain our annual Accreditation. Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development and implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without supervision. They will be required to actively participate in the teaching and supervision of other nursing and non-nursing staff. The post holder will also be required to take a lead / link role for the nursing unit/department to be determined onappointment/appraisal.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 7 Paediatric Practice Development Nurse to join our team. This role is ideal for a children's nurse passionate about education, professional development, quality improvement and delivering safe, evidence-based, family-centred care.
The post holder will provide leadership in practice development, working with clinical teams to identify learning needs, enhance workforce capability and support continuous improvement. Acting as a role model, you will use your clinical expertise to influence practice, facilitate learning and embed evidence-based standards.

Parkinson's Clinical Nurse Specialist- Permanent
The post, a Clinical Specialist Nurse for Parkinson's Disease (PD), is part of the Community Neurology Team, in Dudley Rehabilitation Service (DRS), which is a specialist multidisciplinary team providing advice, rehabilitation, treatment and management of patients with neurological conditions across the Dudley Borough.
Thepost holder willwork closely withthe acute PD CNS, the elderly care andneurology consultantsand theNeurology Specialist Pharmacistbased at Russell's Hall Hospital,as well as theLongterm conditions team based in the Dudley Clinical Hubtoplan, co-ordinate and deliver care for patients to try to keep them safe and as independent as possible in the community. The post holderwill liaisewith GPsand Community PartnershipTeams in their PCN, attending meeting as necessary; as well as attending the PD multidisciplinary team meetings, and the Community Neurology pathway MDT meetings.
Main duties of the job
- To manage a caseload of PD patients who need ongoing support, assessmentand treatment within the community.
- To have a specialist understanding of medications used to treat PD, and common complications, understandingpossible sideeffects. To educate patients on the various drugs available as necessary andappropriate.
- To prescribe treatments within nurse, non-medical prescribing (NMP) constraints.
- To undertake nurse led clinics for PD patients.
- To have responsibility for and contribute to PD education for staff and patients
- To undertake comprehensive assessments of patients, including those with a complex presentation, using investigative and analytical skills, and to formulate individualized management and treatment plans, using clinical reasoning, and utilizing a wide range of treatment skills and case management skills.
