Job summary
Mental Health Rehabilitation offers: a whole systems approach to recovery from mental illness that maximises the individuals quality of life and social inclusion by encouraging their skills promoting independence and autonomy in order to give them hope for the future and leads to successful community living through appropriate support.
The Sussex Community Rehabilitation Pathway provides high quality, safe and effective rehabilitation for adults with psychosis and complex mental disorder across Sussex. The team works collaboratively with patients who meet NICE guidance service criteria to deliver personalised rehabilitation in their local area to:* Support a personally meaningful recovery
*Improve subjective quality of life
*Enable social inclusion and participation in the wider community to achieve personal recovery goals
The Sussex Community Rehabilitation Service operates both short and long-term pathways, with short-term pathways temporary community rehabilitation input to people for up to 16 weeks and long-term pathways which offer input to people for an expected minimum of 3 years.
Main duties of the job
*A breadth of knowledge & skills providing holistic & person centred care & support for people of all ages, in a variety of settings
*Works independently under the leadership of registered nurses providing care, delivering all aspects of nursing processes
*Includes undertaking care & treatment tasks as directed by registered nurse within a range of mental health settings with patients experiencing a range of mental health issues. Includes observations & reporting on patients' conditions
*Contribute to collaborative care planning & safety management in accordance with team approach
*Work flexibly & carry out short/long-term intervention case loads
*Carry out delegated tasks in accordance with care plans, risk management plans, with the support & guidance of lead practitioner & wider team
*Keep accurate records of all work undertaken
*Be managerially accountable to Team Leader
*Administer medication, monitor side effects
*Provide psychoeducation
*Link with wider community networks
*Offer physical health assessment, monitoring & health promotion
*Promote & display via personal actions & support Trust's key policies on Equality & Diversity, Exemplar Employer using the recovery orientated approach for people with longer term problems
*Work under clinical supervision from a registered professional to provide high quality care & treatment with the multi-disciplinary team informed by excellent communication, analysis of information, planning & organisational skills

About the Role
As the Specialist Substance Misuse Practitioner, you will provide expert assessment, formulation, and psychosocial interventions for veterans presenting with substance misuse and addictive behaviours alongside complex mental health and social care needs.
You will act as the service lead for substance misuse, supporting colleagues through consultation, training, and the development of best practice across the team. Working autonomously and collaboratively, you will manage a defined caseload, undertake comprehensive assessments, formulate risk management plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.

Join Op Courage, the NHS specialist service for veterans, as we expand our dynamic therapy team.
We are seeking a committed and compassionate clinical/counselling psychologist or psychological therapist to help us provide high-quality, evidence-based care to ex-armed forces personnel.

Job summary
The Physician Associate or Physician Assistant (PA) will be accountable for ensuring that high quality patient care is always delivered, where they can be a source of continuity for service users by monitoring physical as well as mental health requirements.
The PA will support the effective functioning of the multidisciplinary team and wider service developments through developing knowledge of assessing and managing mental disorders, undertaking quality improvement (QI) work such as clinical audit, gaining knowledge about psychotropic medication and taking a lead role in the physical health of service users.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Part Time Team PA to join the admin team at The Chichester Centre, a low secure mental health unit in Chichester.
You will be working as an administrator for the Forensic Healthcare Service where you will use your skills to support highly skilled and dedicated clinical staff from a multitude of backgrounds including doctors, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists and social workers, to help ensure that we continue to provide excellent patient-focused care.
The post holder will provide administrative support to the clinical team, including the team lead, as well as supervision and leadership of the administration team at The Chichester Centre.

About the unit
Our refreshed clinical model includes purposeful admissions, structured care with early review points, strong links with COAST (Crisis Outreach Acute Support Team), and a 7-day therapeutic timetable including evenings and weekends.
You will work as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, supporting young people, families and carers through assessment, treatment and discharge planning in a therapeutic inpatient environment.
This role is ideal for an experienced registered nurse ready to take the next step in leadership within CAMHS inpatient care.
Main duties of the job
- Undertake comprehensive mental health and risk assessments for young people with complex needs
- Act as named nurse and care coordinator, contributing to care review processes and mental health tribunals
- Deliver and evaluate person-centred, trauma-informed nursing interventions
- Provide clinical leadership and act as a senior decision maker during shifts
- Regularly take charge of the ward, coordinating care delivery and staffing
- Support the Ward Manager with operational duties, including rota coordination, staff supervision and quality monitoring
