Job summary
A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Team Manager for Richmond Single Point of Access Team, providing operational leadership and management for the team. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Clinical Manager of the service.
The Single Point of Access (SPA) carries out expert triage and assessment for patients referred to secondary mental health care. They act as the single point in receiving referrals for working age adults across the whole Borough. The service offers assessment for those with a potential serious and complex mental health problem. The team forms part of a planned and integrated whole system approach to care in conjunction with Primary Care mental health teams and Talking Therapy services, Integrated Recover Hubs; Crisis and Home Treatment Teams, Acute Inpatient Care, Early Intervention Services and Specialist services such as Forensic and CAMHS.
This role requires someone with drive, energy and a commitment to high performance standards and the delivery of excellent services. The post holder would be joining a supportive service line management team, with supervision and opportunities to participate in service development.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will co-ordinate mental health referrals and lead with day-to-day problem solving and navigation, both within the service and at the interface with other services and external organisations. The post holder will be working alongside the clinical manager and consultant psychiatrists and within the MDT.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, an aptitude for managing multiple demands and effective time management techniques whilst remaining calm under pressure. A positive outlook and ability to motivate others is also desirable.
You will be responsible for the monitoring and supervising of clinicians' caseloads using various IT systems, and you will work closely with the service's Senior Management Team to ensure the services delivered are of high quality and meet nationally agreed targets and local KPIs.
You would need to have excellent communication skills, pro-active, be able to work autonomously and in complex environments. Interested candidate would be expected to be able to think creatively, innovatively and demonstrate ability to lead a team. You will also be flexible, responsive, and organised, with an interest in developing services, and participating in service modernisation.

Job summary
A unique opportunity has arisen for Clinical Manager in Kingston Community Services to cover maternity leave. The Clinical Manager is one of the Borough Leadership quartet and as such, works closely with the Clinical Service lead, Borough Associate Clinical Director and lead for Psychology and Psychotherapy, to ensure delivery of high quality, safe and effective services that provide positive experience outcomes for service users, carers and staff.

This is an innovative service commissioned for Merton residents, serving as the primary access point for mental health referrals into secondary care. Job summary
Kingston and Richmond CAMHS are multidisciplinary teams specialising in the provision of high-quality assessments and evidence-based treatments for children, young people and their families presenting to the service with moderate to severe mental health problems and/or Neuropsychiatric difficulties.
We are looking for a committed Nurse who is passionate about working with children and young people with ADHD, who is interested in wider service development initiatives and eligible to undertake the Nurse prescriber training.
The role will be to provide a flexible, timely response to young people and their families who are accessing services for ADHD medication titration, GP Shared Care routine medication reviews, and psycho-social support for YP with ADHD and their families.
The role facilitates joint working with team consultants, non-medical prescribers and therapists within the teams, local GP's, and partnership agencies. While working alongside the team medics and NMPs the post holder will undertake Nurse prescriber training.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be appointed to a band 6 development role and will be supported through a preceptorship model that includes a professional and clinical development plan for continuing professional development training. A Preceptorship NMP will be supported to acquire the knowledge, skills and experience that meet the person specifications for the post at band 7, after successfully completing the Non-Medical prescribing qualification.
This role is open to qualified Nurses with the following:
- Qualification as Registered Nurse with the NMC.

South West London and St George's Mental Health Trust (SWLSTG) are currently recruiting for a band 6 charge nurse to join our CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health) inpatient team and work with children aged 12 - 18 years.
Aquarius Ward is a specialist inpatient mental health provision for young people aged 12 - 18 who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis. It is a 12 bedded National Unit open 365 days a year, 24h a day. It is part of the South London Partnership providing the adolescent in-patient services for young people under South West London & St George's Mental Health NHS Trust, South London and Maudsley and Oxleas NHS Trust. The team provides inpatient treatment for adolescents aged 12 to their 18th birthday in an acute mental health crisis that is unable to be managed in the community with conditions such as severe depression, anxiety, OCD, self-harm, psychosis and mania. You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team that is committed to the provision of high quality service user centred care. Our teams are looking for compassionate, extraordinary Mental Health Nurses that are wanting to develop in their management skills in a busy and exciting environment. As a ward, we now carry out Nasal Gastric on Young People with disordered eating and all RMNs will be trained.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will deliver, or advise on the delivery of, high quality safe nursing care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence which comply with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of professional conduct.
As a Deputy Nursing Team Leader/ClinicalDevelopment Nurse you will promote and develop clinical leadership and clinical practice and be a positive role model to junior members of the team through the practice of evidence-based care. You will be expected to support professional development through clinical appraisal and supervision and contribute to the ongoing educational programme for staff, fostering a positive learning environment. Your professional and personal development will include further postgraduate study and you will be encouraged and supported by your line manager to undertake Master's programmes.
As a senior nurse working within the South London Mental Health and Community Partnership you are required to encourage and foster collaborative and cross organisational working.
