Apply specialist knowledge underpinned by theory to practice in an acute critical care area across a range of diverse procedures.
Ensure the provision of the physical and psychological environment which is conducive to providing optimum care for Perioperative patients.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an MRI assistant to join our friendly MRI team, with a requirement for rotation between all Radiology departments at South Tees NHS Hospital sites including James Cook University Hospital, Friarage hospital in Northallerton, Redcar Primary Care Centre and the new Hub in Stockton.
The role will incorporate a 7-day working week with shifts covering 8am-8pm and 9-5pm. Cover is required 365 days per year.
Main duties of the job
Main duties will include preparing patients prior for their scans and assisting the patients throughout their time within the department. Maintain an efficient daily worklist through dealing with patient queries, appointments and assisting the Radiographers.
We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team where our purpose is to deliver seamless, high quality, safe healthcare for all.
This post is part of the collaborative initiative of the Community Diagnostic Hub program. Although the successful candidate will be employed by South Tees Foundation Trust (STHFT), there may be an expectation of collaborative working across the Tees Valley in the future should the need be required, however this role is primarily for STHFT MRI services, and the successful candidate will join the MRI rota for STHFT. University Hospital Tees - Gastroenterology & Endoscopy Services
The ERCP Specialist Nurse will play a pivotal role in delivering a safe, high-quality, and patient-centred ERCP service across University Hospital Tees. This new post has been created to strengthen the Trust's HPB (Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary) pathway, improve compliance with national BSG ERCP Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) standards, and address key patient safety risks associated with inadequate pre-assessment, stent tracking, and post-procedure follow-up.
Working as an autonomous practitioner within the multidisciplinary HPB team, the post-holder will lead the ERCP pre-assessment service, coordinate inpatient and outpatient pathways, support the consent process, and provide structured post-procedure follow-up. The role will also include responsibility for maintaining the Trust's biliary stent registry, ensuring timely stent exchange or removal, and reducing avoidable complications.
Main duties of the job
The ERCP Specialist Nurse will act as the named lead nurse for ERCP within the Trust, supporting clinical governance, audit, and service improvement. The post-holder will contribute to MDT meetings, liaise with consultants, endoscopy teams, radiology, and surgical colleagues, and ensure that patients receive clear, personalised information throughout their ERCP journey.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced endoscopy or gastroenterology nurse to develop advanced skills in a specialist area, supported by a structured training and competency programme aligned to BSG standards. The role includes protected time for CPD, audit, and professional development, reflecting the Trust's commitment to high-quality care and continuous improvement.

As a community nurse, you will provide high quality, invaluable holistic care for people in their own homes and residential settings which requires a variety of skills including wound care, continence management, palliative care, health promotion, venepuncture and more. The District Nursing Teams are attached to a Primary Care Network (PCN), to provide coordinated care through integrated teams. Through integrated working, a significant change in the way practices interact not only with each other, but the wider health and social care system.
This will enable the traditional barriers to the delivery of health and care to be broken down to enable care to be delivered to a defined patient population, in a different way to meet the needs of that population, focused on prevention and personalisation of care, making best use of resources collectively.
Main duties of the job
The Community Staff Nurse is expected to provide clinical care, innovative practice and support to the District Nurse Sister and Clinical Lead to our ever developing teams. This role will provide the opportunity to work closely with GP practices and other partners, in supporting patients with highly complex and often high acuity needs to prevent unnecessary hospital admission.
This role requires an experienced clinician with team working and communication skills, delivering effective evidence based care to a defined demographic population with diverse health care and social needs.
The successful candidate needs to be prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the Trust and the community models of care as they arise.
