Job summary
This is a fixed-term Junior Clinical Fellow post in Psychiatry, based at Bethlem Royal Hospital within South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves rotating between Croydon Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit and Croydon Home Treatment Team, with six months spent in each service. It is a full-time post consisting of 10 programmed activities, including 8 Direct Clinical Care sessions and 2 Supporting Professional Activities sessions, with one day per week dedicated to non-clinical psychiatry-related work such as audit, quality improvement, research, teaching or other professional development. The post holder will contribute to clinical care, join the on-call rota, and be supported to develop their skills and interests within psychiatry.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the job are to support the clinical care of patients across Croydon PICU and the Croydon Home Treatment Team. This includes reviewing and managing inpatients or the team caseload, contributing to the day-to-day workload of the service, attending ward rounds, team meetings and CPA meetings, carrying out risk assessments and developing risk management plans, formulating care plans, and supporting patients' physical health through examinations and investigations where appropriate. The post holder will also liaise with GPs, social services, voluntary sector organisations and other professionals inside and outside SLaM, attend external patient meetings, make safeguarding referrals when needed, and maintain clear clinical records, including reports, letters, discharge notifications and summaries. In addition, the role includes participation in audit, quality improvement, research, teaching, clinical governance, reflective practice and relevant team or Trust meetings.

About the team:
We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, energetic and clinically confident Perinatal Mental Health Nurse to join our Community Perinatal Teams across the Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark teams due to further expansion of the Perinatal Community services. You will have experience of general adult inpatient, Mother and Baby inpatient unit, community mental health services or Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). You will also have experience of working with women who suffer from moderate to severe mental illness in the perinatal period.
You will be familiar with Perinatal community standards, governance and performance structures and confident in partnership work with other agencies such as Children and Family Social Services, Midwifery and Obstetric teams, CMHTs, Health Visitors and the Voluntary sector.
You will display excellent clinical knowledge and skilled practice in women with mental health disorders in the perinatal period. You will provide consistently skilled judgments in clinical work. You need to have experience of working in a richly diverse inner city Borough and have the understanding of theopportunities challengesthat this brings.

About the role:
Working closely with your colleagues in PMHT's, you will receive support and be part of the on-going Perinatal workforce training within SLaM and London wide. In addition, you will be partof the Pan London Community Perinatal Nurses network. This is a great opportunity to supervise juniorstaff, student nurses as well asimplementing new ways of working using best practice and NICE guidelines.
The Lambeth Perinatal Service provides a Monday to Friday, 9-5 service to service users residing within the Borough of Lambeth offering assessment, intervention and treatment to women who suffer from moderate to severe mental health disorders in the perinatal period.

Job summary
To have overall management responsibility for the delivery of care within an Early Intervention in Psychosis model of service delivery, in accordance with Trust policies and procedures. To lead a team of professional and support staff in the delivery of high quality evidence-based practice, ensuring that regular supervision and appraisal take place. Job summary
Here at the Lambeth Mental Health Liaison Service, we are excited to advertise a permanent full time senior mental health liaison nurse position within our team.
The primary function of this role is to work as a highly experienced mental health practitioner, carrying out front of house specialist assessments (i.e. the front door triage model) within the Emergency Department (ED) as part of the Mental Health Liaison Team (MHLT).
The psychiatric nurse in charge (Psych NIC) is responsible for ensuring all those who present to the ED with an acute mental health need, receive timely and appropriate care, in the right place, at the right time, by the right person.
The PNIC will be expected to actively identify and triage those presenting to the ED with an urgent or emergent need for mental health care, psychological support and/ or those with substance misuse problems. Working alongside the ED team they try to ensure appropriate medical clearance wherever appropriate. However, this does not explicitly mean that all face-to-face contact is completed by the PNIC; instead acting as a shift coordinator to ensure that all patients are prioritised in terms of need and allocated to the team appropriate to that need of the patient and the skill mix on shift.
Main duties of the job
The Psych NIC will:
- be based on the emergency floor for much of the shift providing direct formal and informal support to the ED teams and visiting agencies.
- Offering face to face support directing referrals from the emergency floor to the most appropriate assessment pathway i.e. via the front door triage model, direct to the PLN's for full assessment or determining if further medical assessments need to be completed inline with our parallel assessment protocol.
- Work alongside the enhanced care team (ECT) in making decisions about enhanced observations for mental health patients.
- Act as part of the ED response team for patients detained on S136 or police referrals, and work to ensure timely throughput in department in line with the GSTT CODE10 protocol.
- Work alongside ED triage teams to evaluate fitness for assessment, and support visible parallel working. (see parallel working protocol)
- Through use of the front door triage model and from being visible and approachable able assist referrers in signposting to other services - including UCC, GP, IAPT etc.
- Assist the PLN assessment team working as the Psychiatric Nurse in Charge.
- Take a lead role within the liaison service, providing support and guidance within the service but also within their specialist lead area. i.e. safeguarding etc.
- provide clinical supervision with the band 6 (assessing) psychiatric liaison nursing team.

Job summary
The LAS ST4 doctor will work in the community team for adults with intellectual disability and mental illness and/or significant challenging behaviour within the London borough of Lambeth. They will work as part of a multidisciplinary team made up of psychiatrists, community psychiatric nurses, clinical psychologists and a behaviour support worker.

- Be responsible for training on procurement process changes and asset management changes - ensuring all team members are up to date on the policies and processes.
- Assist in the management of all Trust Digital Assets and ensuring the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is maintained, updated and quality assessed on a regular basis - assisting in the report creation for the Asset, Quality and Contracts manager. Partaking in audits when required.
