An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and compassionate cardiac nurse to join the Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Nurse Specialist Team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract, providing maternity cover.
This is an opportunity to join a specialist regional service providing person-centred care to adults living with congenital heart disease across the North West, North Wales and the Isle of Man. The successful candidate will work closely with cardiologists, specialist nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.
The role will involve providing specialist nursing care, advice, education and support to patients, families and carers, delivering ACHD outpatient clinics and contributing to the assessment, management and ongoing care of patients with complex congenital heart conditions.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your specialist expertise within an experienced regional ACHD service and make a meaningful difference to patients living with congenital heart disease.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide specialist nursing care and support to adults with congenital heart disease across the regional ACHD service. Key responsibilities will include delivering specialist ACHD outpatient clinics, providing expert advice and education to patients and families, supporting the assessment and ongoing management of patients with complex congenital heart conditions, and coordinating care across the multidisciplinary and regional service.
The role will also involve supporting specialist clinics, including transition, cardiac maternity and outreach services, contributing to patient education and self-management, and promoting continuity and quality of care. The post holder will work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team and contribute to education, service development and the ongoing improvement of ACHD nursing services.

We are at an exciting time, with the introduction of a Rolling National Lung Cancer Screening programme across Cheshire and Merseyside. The Lung Cancer Screening programme enables the early detection of lung cancer in order to save lives across Cheshire and Merseyside, in areas where significant impact can be made from the recognition of early stage lung cancer and offering curative treatment.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Lung Cancer Screening Nurse Associate/ Assistant Practitioner to join our Lung Cancer Screening Service working across Cheshire and Merseyside. The post holder should have a background in Respiratory Medicine where they will undertake telephone assessments to screen and refer for a low dose CT chest scans to help to identify early stages of lung cancer.
We're looking for individuals who love a challenge and strive for excellence in the way they work and candidates with a passion for respiratory medicine. These role demands the ability to be innovative, flexible and a strong team player and also be able to work autonomously.
The post holder will undertake telephone assessments. Using a validated risk assessment tool, the individual may be referred for a low dose CT scan. It is the practitioner's responsibility to use Every Contact Counts for onward referrals

The Lung Cancer CNS role is pivotal in facilitating an individualised diagnostic pathway for each of their patients and providing the specialist care and support they require.

We're looking for a highly organised and proactiveTAVI Administration Co-ordinator to play a vital role in supporting our specialist TAVI service and helping clinicians deliver outstanding patient care.
This is far more than a traditional administrative role you'll be at the centre of a fast paced, highly skilled clinical team, ensuring the smooth running of the service and providing the accurate, timely information that directly supports clinical decision making at Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings.
Main duties of the job
The TAVI Administration Co-ordinator will provide a comprehensive administrative service to support and cover the TAVI service and ensure the effective management of accurate and timely data to enable clinical decision-making at Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings.
The post-holder will coordinate, proactively manage and track patients against the National Referral to Treatment (RTT) Standards. They will escalate problems to Divisional management and the TAVI Team in a timely manner so that remedial action can be taken where necessary to ensure the RTT targets are met.
The post holder will also coordinate the audio typing of clinical and non clinical correspondence within the service line and organise patient admissions and pre-operative appointments.

Job summary
Due to internal promotion , we currently have opportunities for full and part time staff nurses in our state of the art Critical Care Unit, which consists of 18 Post Operative Critical Care beds, 12 Intensive Care beds. We are seeking individuals with a commitment to the provision of high quality individualized patient care in a changing environment. You must be able to demonstrate effective communication, initiative, drive and a willingness to learn.
Applicants should be fully registered with NMC and have critical care experience
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of patient care within the Critical Care environment.
They will be required to care for acutecardiothoracic post operative patients who are Level 2 or 3 or who are cared for within the Intensive care area.
