Job summary
A 12 month Fixed Term opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse to join the friendly Lower Lea Valley Integrated Community Team which provides care to patient in Cheshunt and surrounding areas. The service covers the hours of 08:00 - 22:00 7 days a week.
If you are a student nurse, we would welcome your application, working in an acute Trust is not compulsory before gaining your first position in the community as we provide full training and support.
We also welcome applications from acute nurses who are looking for a community based role.

Main duties of the job
The post offers varied and interesting community experience in a well supported environment and is an ideal opportunity for a nurse interested in working in the community. Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, provide and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for a wide range of conditions. The team covers a 7 days a week service and therefore a flexible approach to working is required.The successful candidate will be committed to team work, have good communication and decision making and planning skills. A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

The candidate should have at least three years experience working in an accident and emergency department, urgent treatment center, walk in center or general practice, with a keen interest and/or experience in the assessment and treatment of minor injuries.
