Job summary
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated registered nurse to lead on our nationally commissioned and well established asthma biologics service. The service is ever expanding and is now treating patients with ground breaking asthma medications. The post holder will play a fundamental role in the work-up, administration of asthma biologic therapy and long-term management of our patients.
This role requires the post holder to have demonstrable specialist clinical and management skills and a special interest in patients living with asthma. You will work autonomously alongside our well-established multidisciplinary asthma team.
This role is available as a 12 month secondment or fixed term contract.
Main duties of the job
This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across the multidisciplinary team and engage confidently with a diverse range of patients and carers.The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive and committed to contributing to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience in an ambulatory setting is desirable, and it is essential for you have confidence in working autonomously delivering individualised and personalised direct patient care .

We provide fully integrated 24/7 clinically effective, efficient and high-quality care to people with complex specialist palliative and end of life care needs, based on current evidence and best practice across inpatient and community settings. Our dedicated Palliative and End of Life Care team provides rapid response to patients in the dying phase and our overnight service (Pal@Home) support people to remain in their preferred place of care.

Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will lead and support the delivery of excellent personalised care to patients and families across inpatient services and the Boroughs of Lambeth & Southwark, in their own homes and care homes.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, experienced nurse to join our Chemotherapy team as a Senior Staff Nurse, Band 6. We are looking for committed individuals with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, who have a genuine interest in working with oncology and haematology to join our team. We are dedicated to training and developing our staff in their chosen field.
The successful applicant needs to be experienced in the administration of SACT (systemic anti-cancer therapy) and supporting patients and their families with a cancer diagnosis. This is a great opportunity to build confidence with chemo administration and gain further insight into the working of a day unit.
The successful candidate will be expected to work four 9.5 hour shifts per week, current working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-18:00 Guy's site and 08:30-18:30 Queen Mary's Hospital site. The candidate would be also be rostered for several late shifts per month. We are currently closed weekends though do cover bank holidays.

Main duties of the job
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner is an experienced registered nurse with specialist skills to assess and treat patients and manage the clinical environment, in liaison with the management and consultant team.

From October 2024, the NIHR Clinical Research Network has changed to become the NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN). The RDN will support:

Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team in a split SLT and Dietetic post, cover ICU, cardiothoracics and Cardiology Specialities at The Royal Brompton Hospital.
The successful post holder will support the assessment and management of patients with communication, swallowing and nutritional needs and will collaboratively with the wider MDT to provide high quality, patient centered care.
Main duties of the job
1. The post holder will assist in the provision of care to patients, supported and supervised by senior therapists.
2. The post holder will carry out clinical tasks to support the dietetics, speech therapists and occupational therapists therapy team such as supervision of daily individual rehabilitation and developmental sessions and also speech therapy and dietary reviews, delegated by qualified staff, requiring a wide range of technical ability, as well as an excellent level of interpersonal skills.
3. The post holder will carry out clinical assessments independently, within their Assistant Practitioner competency framework. They will assist in the initial therapy assessment of referrals to the adult heart therapy team.
4. They will provide a key role in the management of stable adult in-patients on oral nutritional support and inpatients with food allergy. This will include initial assessment and screening, with regular reassessment and monitoring during the hospital stay. This will also include organising discharge follow-up with local GP and community services.
