Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Patient Pathway Co-ordinator to join our team. This key role supports the effective delivery of elective access and theatre services, ensuring patients progress smoothly through their treatment pathways and receive timely care.
The post holder will manage complex Referral to Treatment (RTT) pathways, coordinate theatre capacity, monitor service performance, and work closely with clinical and operational teams across multiple departments and sites. They will play an important role in meeting access targets, resolving pathway issues, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
The successful candidate will supervise and support administrative staff, contribute to training and development, and take part in service improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and patient experience. Working with a high degree of autonomy, they will use strong organisational, analytical, and decision-making skills to manage competing priorities and support the delivery of service objectives. The role also includes deputising for other Band 5 colleagues when required.

Main duties of the job
- Manage the speciality team, which will involve supervising and direct line managing the waiting list officers.
- Ensuring agreed booking procedures, waiting list procedures and administration resources deliver optimum utilisation of capacity, within national targets and timescales, and ensuring the service is customer care focused at all times
- Manage the performance of agreed booking procedures required to meet and maintain the national targets following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that allow for efficient booking and utilisation of existing capacity by speciality.
- Manage the performance of processes which will ensure early identification of capacity issues for escalation and discussion with service managers and clinicians.
- Agree action plans in line with service managers to constantly maintain the delivery of the Trust's performance targets.
- Review procedures within the Directorates, which affect patient access, identify and implement changes in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness for patients.
- Work closely with members of the clinical and non-clinical teams across the Trust in developing and refining policies and procedures to ensure seamless management of patients across all departments.
- Ensure that the team maintains a professional and positive approach at all times.

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced and enthusiastic Paediatric Staff Nurseto join our supportive, dynamic, and forward-thinking team in the Paediatric Emergency Department at Frimley Park Hospital.
Our department sees approximately 30,000 children annually, aged 0-17 years, presenting with a wide range of conditions from minor injuries and illnesses to major trauma and resuscitation. Patient safety and high-quality, child-centred care are at the heart of everything we do.

Main duties of the job
To work as part of a team of nurses, health care assistants and the wider multidisciplinary team and be responsible for the assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating of nursing care.
The fast-paced environment of Paediatrics ED means our staff have to be adaptable in adjusting their priorities to patient and departmental needs which can change rapidly. We are looking for motivated and flexible nurses that are able to adapt to this ever-changing environment, whilst keeping patient safety and compassion at the forefront of everything they do.
- To give and receive regular reports on the progress of patients, reporting any changes, immediately to the NIC
- To participate in the checking and administration of prescribed and controlled drugs in accordance with Trust policy including IV medication
- To always maintain confidentiality
- Maintain a learning environment enabling student's and NQN's to achieve their learning objectives
- Act as a role model to all
- Act as a resource for the ED for child protection issues
- To ensure all equipment is in good working order and ready for immediate use. Report any defects

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and compassionate experienced Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Frailty Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) team. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated nurse to become part of a well-established and progressive Ophthalmology team.We are a busy outpatient's department undertaking the assessment and care of Ophthalmic patients, by continually adapting the service to meet and enhance the care we provide to our patients. The eye treatment centre encompasses the Ophthalmic outpatient department, the Mobile Macular Unit (MMU) and the ETC ward both at Frimley Park Hospital and Heatherwood. The MMU moves weekly between Basingstoke, Farnborough, Aldershot and Camberley and the ETC ward at Heatherwood. The post holder will rotate between all clinical areas within this very busy fast paced speciality working 3-5 shifts a week between 0700-2000 Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend work required

- As an integral member of the Ophthalmic nursing team, the post holder will provide support to other members of the multidisciplinary team in the provision of high quality care

Job summary
We are seeking a Clinical Admin Officer to join the cardiology chest pain team team at Wexham Park Hospital. This is a Full-time role (37.50 hours per week)
The role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with the cardiology specialist nurses, Consultants and their teams. It is ideally suited to candidates with proven administrative experience, strong organisational skills, and a positive approach to change.
As a Clinical Admin Officer, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the specialist nurses ,Consultants and junior medical staff, ensuring all documentation and patient data is accurately recorded in line with Trust standards.
Main duties of the job
- To provide clinical administrative support to the Specialist nurses, Consultants and their junior medical staff, ensuring that Trust standards are adhered to in relation to all documentation and data input concerning patients and treatment.
- To provide an administrative service to the Department.
- To plan and organise own work schedule with the use of appropriate planning aids, demonstrating good time management and ensure anticipated difficulties in meeting deadlines are promptly reported.
- Deal with Specialist nurses Consultants requests for actioning urgent correspondence, medico-legal reports and any other appropriate ad hoc correspondence requested in line with the Trusts policies and procedures.

- To ensure that secure systems are in place for the storage of all resources including computerised information.

This role is for our Inpatient Diabetes Services at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust
As part of the exciting and innovative developments across Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, we are delighted to offer a Band 6 vacancy for an enthusiastic and committed Diabetes Nurse Specialist to join our expanding team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of our 7-day inpatient diabetes service, contributing to the day-to-day clinical care, education, and support of patients with diabetes across our hospital sites. You will work alongside a friendly, multidisciplinary team including consultants, dietitians, and other specialist nurses.
About You:We are looking for a qualified, NMC-registered nurse with a strong interest or experience in diabetes care. You should be confident in working autonomously within a team, have excellent communication skills, and a desire to develop your clinical expertise in a specialist setting.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily reviews of inpatients with diabetes, identifying and addressing clinical needs in a timely and effective manner.
Participate in inpatient follow-up clinics, supporting patients in managing their condition during hospital stays and after discharge.
Develop and implement patient-centred care plans, offering guidance on blood glucose monitoring, medication regimes (including insulin), and lifestyle interventions.
Manage the telephone advice line and email service, offering responsive support to both patients and staff seeking diabetes-related advice.
Ensure that electronic and written documentation is accurately maintained, reflecting care delivery and supporting safe, coordinated practice.
Participate in ward-based education and training, promoting best practices in diabetes management among ward staff.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Admin Officer to join the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Clinical Admin team at Frimley Park Hospital. Accuracy and attention to detail are a must. Main duties of the job
- To provide an administrative service to the Department.
- To plan and organise own work schedule with the use of appropriate planning aids, demonstrating good time management and ensure anticipated difficulties in meeting deadlines are promptly reported.
- Deal with Consultants requests for actioning urgent correspondence, medico-legal reports and any other appropriate adhoc correspondence requested in line with the Trusts policies and procedures.
- To obtain and organise information in support of own work activities, maintain confidentiality in accordance with organisation procedures.
- Answer queries from colleagues, GP's and patients in a timely and professional manner.
- To ensure that secure systems are in place for the storage of all resources including computerised information.
- To promptly open incoming mail, linking to relevant medical records and distributing post to consultants where necessary.
- Scanning and uploading relevant patient medical documents into the Trust's Electronic Patient Record system.
- Set up and maintain effective filing, bring forward and retrieval systems.
