Job summary
We are seeking an organised, motivated and proactive Band 6 Charge Nurse to join our team. The post holder will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day operational activities, supporting service delivery and ensuring effective communication across multidisciplinary teams.
The Band 6 Charge Nurse will be responsible for managing workflows, monitoring performance against service targets and supporting the implementation of service improvements. They will act as a central point of contact for staff, patients and external partners, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently, safely and in line with organisational policies and standards.

Are you an experienced Emergency Care Practitioner looking for a new opportunity? We are looking for an enthusiasticBand 6 ECP to join our friendly Emergency Department team.
Our newly refurbished ED provides a modern environment for high-quality care. The ECP service operates from 8:00am to 11:00pm, providing assessment and management of patients presenting with minor injuries and appropriate minor illness.

Main duties of the job
As a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse within the Out of Hours Community Nursing Service, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care to individuals in their own homes and residential care settings across East Cheshire.Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care, ensuring patients receive timely and effective nursing interventions during the out of hours period.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a wide range of community nursing interventions, including wound care, palliative and end of life care, catheter care and medication administration.
- Undertaking holistic patient assessments and using clinical judgement to identify changing healthcare needs.
- Supporting patients to remain safely at home, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and facilitating early discharge where appropriate.
- Responding to urgent referrals and prioritising workload effectively to ensure safe and timely care delivery.

Main duties of the job
The role of a Staff Nurse is to support in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of high quality nursing care.
