We have an exciting opportunity for Band 6 Mental Health Nurses to join the Older Adults community team based in South Warwickshire. We are a developing team committed to providing excellent patient care, proactively embedding and utilising multidisciplinary roles to provide recovery and outcome focussed interventions for individuals within the service.
We are seeking candidates who have experience of working in mental health settings who have a keen interest in working with older adults, are innovative, dynamic and looking to develop their clinical skills. We currently have a 12-month fixed-term/secondment vacancy for a Band 6 Clinical Practitioner to join the CYP - MH Crisis Acute Liaison Team based at the Caludon Centre in Coventry (on same site as UHCW) We are seeking clinicians with experience of risk management and safety planning, who want to make a positive difference to the lives and outcomes of children, young people and their parents/carers.
Experience of working with children and young people is desirable but not essential and we therefore welcome applications from those working in wider services who regularly support individuals in crisis and collaboratively work with them to ensure safe and effective care is supported and delivered.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity to join the Community mental health - Older adult service, an expanding team working with patients with both dementia and functional disorders.
The role of the Memory assessment clinician is open to CPNs and Occupational Therapists interested in developing their skills in Memory assessment work. The role will involve working predominantly with patient presenting with memory difficulties, completing assessments of cognition and supporting the diagnostic process. However, as the team grows and develops may include some work with patients presenting with functional illness also.
Main duties of the job
The focus of this role will be on completing the following main duties;
- Memory Assessments within clinic or patients home environment, dependent on patient need.
- Timely diagnosis, following close joint working with Consultant psychiatrists.
- Pharmacological Treatment, as per guidance from Consultant psychiatrist. As appropriate depending on profession.
- Post diagnosis support and sign posting.
- Monitoring and reviewing of patients started on treatment.
- Contribution to duty system.
- Assessment of risks at home and support to address/ mitigate utilising MDT approach.

Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment (CRHTT) is an essential components of the crisis care pathway supporting patients in the community who are experiencing mental health crisis and/or require home treatment for early intervention to prevent further escalation of mental health challenges. CRHTT is a multi-disciplinary team who assess patients' mental health needs or a combination of mental, physical, psychological and social factors. CRHT explores alternatives to hospital admission ensuring the least restriction option giving priority to care delivery closer to home while optimising safe and effective care. CRHTT will embrace joint decision making with patients, family and carers and other services to support appropriate risk management planning.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be an experienced mental health professional with knowledge and skills in leadership, managing staff, and be a team player committed to innovation and service development. You will establish relationships and communication links with other urgent care and community mental health services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced RNLD to work as part of a Community Learning Disabilities team in North Warwickshire.

Job summary
The post holder will provide nursing input into the eating disorders day treatment service.
The post holder will work with the wider MDT to provide monitoring and specialist nursing to patients with a diagnosed eating disorder within the day treatment service. The post holder will work with patients who are being stepped up from the community eating disorder service due to a need for more intensive support, and also those stepping down from inpatient settings to reduce length of stay and to facilitate reintegration into the community setting. We are recruiting several Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners within the Coventry and Warwickshire Talking Therapies teams, managing and coordinating a supportive and cohesive PWP Team.
Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Talking Therapies service has a strong focus on client experience and outcome as well as staff wellbeing. The service benefits from a robust support structure, with various learning and development opportunities including an inhouse CPD programme, whereby full time staff are allocated 5 study days per year to progress their skills and knowledge.
This is a hybrid role with a mix of remote working and office based duties.
Main duties of the job

This is a full time role and your responsibilities will include spending one day each week at our Telephone and Referral Centre. This is where all referrals are received and processed and your role will require you to screen some of these referrals for suitability. You will also be required to assess risks on a regular basis and ensure that a management plan is developed whenever risks are identified.
