Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 mental health nurse to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. As a community mental health nurse, you will have a genuine interest in working with adults experiencing enduring and complex mental health problems including their carers and families.
As a registered professional this is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to develop their leadership and clinical skills within a community setting. As a core member of the team, you will support patients through the combined pathway of care focusing on recovery and improving quality of life. We have a post available within the Darlington Crisis Team and we are looking for passionate, skilled qualified clinician to join us.
The team provides crisis services to adults within the Durham area, providing a 24 hour crisis line, telephone triage, initial assessments, and a place of safety for those detained on section 136 by police.

Main duties of the job
The team operates over 24 hours, 7 day a week, 12-hour shifts.
This is a band 5 post open to registered nurses, occupational therapists and social workers with current relevant registration with the NMC, HCPC or SWE. This post is suitable for newly qualified applicants.
You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team and there is ample opportunity to develop and enhance your existing clinical skills. You will receive regular supervision and there are good training opportunities.

Main duties of the job
