Main duties of the job

Job summary
The main purpose of the MDT Co-ordinator role is to support the clinical team and patient pathways at the Cancer MDT Meeting to ensure that the Trust meets the requirements of the national Cancer Waiting Time Standards. Main duties of the job
The post holder will be supporting the cross cover of all tumour sites with dedicated time to support the Gynaecology MDT meetings where required.

The post holder will ensure that all patients progress through their pathway post MDT, ensuring all treatment plans and next steps are in place or escalated. The West Middlesex Hospital Intensive care Unit comprises of a combination of level two and level three intensive care beds. We cater for a broad range of critically ill patients and offer a friendly and supportive working environment where education and staff development is seen as a priority.

Main duties of the job
- The Staff Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of high quality patient care, whilst working in close co-operation and collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.

Scrub Nurse/ODP - Theatres Band 5
The Band 5 Staff Nurse / Theatre Nurse is a key member of the Planned Care Division, working within the Day Surgery Unit to provide safe, effective and high-quality perioperative care. As part of the multidisciplinary theatre team, the post holder upholds excellent clinical standards, supports colleagues, and ensures compassionate, patient-centred care throughout each surgical pathway.
The nurse primarily works in the Day Surgery Unit but may be required to undertake weekend shifts or cross-site duties depending on service needs
Although positioned at Band 5, the post holder is expected to demonstrate reliability, professionalism and growing clinical autonomy. They contribute to theatre efficiency by supporting the coordination of care, maintaining smooth theatre flow, and communicating effectively with patients, families and the wider clinical team. Trust values must be consistently demonstrated in all aspects of practice.
The role may also involve acting as a deputy to more senior staff, such as a Junior Theatre Sister, taking responsibility for delegated clinical and educational tasks, and supporting team development.
Working both independently and as part of a team, the nurse helps maintain a safe surgical environment through strong infection control practice, safeguarding awareness, and evidence-based clinical care.

Main duties of the job
The Band 5 Scrub Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality intraoperative care by maintaining a sterile environment, preparing theatres appropriately, and ensuring all instruments and equipment are ready for each procedure. They scrub for a range of surgeries, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, manage instruments and devices throughout operations, and complete all required surgical counts accurately in line with Trust policy. They are also responsible for the safe disposal and handling of sharps, swabs, and instruments.
The post holder supports efficient theatre flow by assisting with case turnaround, coordinating with the wider multidisciplinary team, and engaging in all required safety processes, including the WHO Surgical Checklist.
Professional practice must align with NMC/HCPC standards, Trust guidelines, infection control requirements, and local policies. The Scrub Nurse maintains high standards of documentation and patient safety, escalating equipment issues, near-misses, and incidents appropriately, and contributing to clinical governance activity.
They play a key role in education by supporting learners and junior staff, demonstrating best practice, and engaging in continuous professional development to maintain and expand their own skills. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and passionate midwife to join our established senior leadership team at West Middlesex University Hospital as the Maternity Quality & Safety Lead Midwife.
The successful candidate will take the lead role in delivering the quality, governance and safety agendas across the maternity service by ensuring there is a robust governanceframework in place to deliver on all aspects of safety and clinical quality agendas.

Main duties of the job

Responsible for leading improvements in quality standards across Maternity services, participating in National benchmarking and clinical validation as required.
They will be instrumental in monitoring and supporting risk issues and the reporting of risk within the department.

This position offers the post holder an exciting opportunity to be part of a an innovative model of nursing care at West Middlesex University Hospital - PATCH team "Providing Assessment and Treatment for Children at Home", with support from the NWL PATCH Team, the Virtual Wards Programme and West London Children's Healthcare.
Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work closely and collaboratively with the Consultant Anaesthetist POA Matron and all health care professionals involved in the care pathway of the elective and urgent surgical patient including:

? Clinical and administrative staff within POAC including nursing staff, anaesthetists,
POA assistant practioner and Support workers
? Admissions and scheduling Staff across all surgical directorates
? Ward and Clinical Staff Trust wide
Service Improvement:
? Involve patients and other users of the service to maintain a continuous service improvement cycle. Use Trust resources to develop own improvement skills.
? Involve and motivate the multi-disciplinary team, to develop and promote the POA service and implement nurse led POA for all elective and emergency surgical patients Trust wide.
Performance and Activity:

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic nurse to join the Research team at Clinical Research Facility. We welcome applications from experienced nurses with recent knowledge and skills acquired in acute settings, who can demonstrate an understanding of the importance of clinical trials plus a genuine interest and commitment to the specialist role of the research nurse. The job entails assisting the existing Research team in clinical and administrative activities related to delivery of clinical trials, from initiation to termination, in accordance with International Council for Harmonisation and Good Clinical Practice guidelines (ICH-GCP).
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to work at the Clinical Research Facility (CRF) based at the St Stephens Centre, located next to the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in Fulham Road, London. This is a fixed term (maternity cover) Band 5 post that offers the candidates the opportunity to enhance their career in clinical research. The post holder is expected to ensure that all research processes are in accordance within the remits of research guidelines. The safety and well being of the study participant is paramount at all times. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated nurse to join our integrated, multidisciplinary team to work collaboratively, deliver care meeting best practice in heart failure. It is envisaged this post holder will work with the cross-site team at Chelsea & Westminster site & at West Middlesex University Hospital site. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the service as a whole under the direction of the lead specialist nurse for heart failure. The Heart Failure Specialist Nurse provides expertise in all aspects of cardiac care provision with a specific interest & experience in Heart Failure. The post holder will be an experienced practitioner with extensive experience of cardiology & the ability to work autonomously and as an autonomous practitioner will be required to manage their own caseload including nurse-led clinics, virtual clinics, and telephone consultations. Will also provide support & education to cardiac inpatients' within the hospitals. The post holder will provide a leadership role and forge links with those involved in the development of the cardiology services both internally and externally. They will analyse service performance by undertaking regular audits, quality improvement activities and participate in the strategic development of the service. The post holder will also actively disseminate experiences through publication, conference presentations and participate in local heart failure and nursing research and national working parties
Main duties of the job
As an autonomous practitioner, manage a caseload of patient's both acute and chronic heart failure across the Trust providing specialist assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. Undertake nurse-led heart failure clinics to monitor, review and optimise patient management. Work cross-site under the direction of the Trust's Lead Heart Failure Nurse and collaborate with the multidisciplinary cardiology team to provide specialist inpatient heart failure reviews, management plans and patient education. Ensure patients understand their diagnosis and evidenced based heart failure medications that improve symptoms and prognosis whilst supporting effective discharge planning, arrange follow-up care. Maintain the heart failure telephone advice service for patients and healthcare professionals. Incorporate information and communication technologies (ICTs) into patient pathways and support the development of digital personal health records and digital care pathways. Work within agreed policies, procedures and protocols using professional judgement. Utilise multidisciplinary and multi-agency resources to ensure patients receive appropriate services and referrals. Work collaboratively with colleagues, patients and families to improve patient experience and contribute to the ongoing development of heart failure and cardiology services across the Trust.

The Specialist Care Division is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our dynamic team, playing a key role in supporting the delivery of outstanding patient care across our Maternity and Neonatal Services at both Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital. Main duties of the job
The Service Manager is responsible for the delivery of high quality and efficient patient services in defined clinical areas.
The Service Manager will assist the Deputy General Manager/General Manager and the Service Directors in the delivery of objectives across the Directorate as well as directly managing mutually agreed projects and service improvement initiatives.
The post holder will work closely with nursing, midwifery, administrative and clinical teams to deliver excellent performance and achieve agreed productivity targets with main objectives for the role linked to ensure we :- deliver high-quality patient centred care- are the employer of choice- deliver better care at lower cost
The Service Manager will work closely and in partnership with other members of the Directorate's management team, in particular Service Directors and Matrons, to achieve agreed performance, financial productivity targets and clinical indicators.
The Service Manager will support the Service Directors with the management of effective deployment of medical staff.
The Service Manager will ensure that line management of his or her staff is undertaken professionally and that each member of staff has an appraisal and development and training plan consistent with Directorate, Division and Trust objectives.

Job summary
The post holder will work within the Facial Lipoatrophy Service to provide assessment and non-surgical treatment for moderate to severe Facial Lipoatrophy in patients living with HIV. This service aims to restore facial appearance and improve patient experience and satisfaction.
Treatment of Facial Lipoatrophy is delivered by deep dermal injections of Poly-L-Lactic Acid PLLA (New-Fill) directly into the face. This helps to correct HIV related lipoatrophy and aims to restore facial appearance. Training in the administration of the New-Fill treatment is required to ensure efficacy and safety. The Facial Lipoatrophy Service is centralised and managed by the Chelsea and Westminster HIV services. All patients attending London HIV Clinics with moderate to severe Facial Lipoatrophy are eligible to be referred for New-Fill treatments.

To ensure that all episodes of care are documented in an appropriate and accountable way; disseminating all relevant changes in the womans condition to the multi-disciplinary team.
To assist the Maternal Medicine Lead Midwife, Preterm Birth Lead Midwife and multi-disciplinary team to ensure that high standards of safe and quality care are delivered and maintained at all times
