This is a senior leadership role responsible for the operational management of a cluster of services within Health in Justice sector. You will work closely with the Operations Director and Head of Nursing & Quality to ensure services are safe, effective, compliant, financially sustainable, and patient-focused.
Salary & Hours
This position is full time working 37.5 hours per week.
You will receive an annual salary of £80,000 to £90,000 per annum.

Main duties of the job
As the Head of Operations your responsibilities will vary. You will:
- Lead and manage multiple Heads of Healthcare within your directorate, across a set cluster.
- Drive high standards of patient care, performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure consistency and best practice across all healthcare services.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership with a high degree of autonomy.
- Ensure services are safe, effective, and compliant.
- Oversee clinical governance, risk management, quality assurance, and patient safety.
- Work with nursing and quality teams to implement governance frameworks and improvement plans.
- Prepare services for CQC and other regulatory inspections.
- Promote a culture of learning from incidents, audits, and best practice.
- Represent Practice Plus Group at contract reviews, commissioner meetings, and directorate forums.
- Help align services with local and national healthcare priorities.
- Hold overall responsibility for regional budgets and financial performance.
- Identify opportunities for service improvements and efficiencies.
- Develop action plans when standards or targets are not being achieved.
- Support innovation and service development.

Job summary
Peninsula Dental Social Enterprise is seeking a motivated, committed, enthusiastic qualified Dental Nurse with management experience to fill a Clinic Team Leader position at our newly opened DEP in the City Centre.
The post holder will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the clinical floors and student clinics as well as all supporting services, including management of staff. The post holder will be required to be the CQC Registered Manager for the site and oversee the associated regulated activities.
Main duties of the job
Key accountabilities:
Operational management of the clinical floor and supporting services
Line management of staff to achieve an innovative, motivational and high performing working environment to best deliver services to patients and students. Includes conducting appraisals, managing performance, managing attendance, conduct etc.
Assisting in recruitment and development of relevant staff groups
Liaison with PDSE managers, clinic staff, academic staff and students to maximise the efficiency of the clinics
Ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with Equality and Diversity regulations for staff, students and patients
Ensure all governance procedures are in place and are adhered to
Plan and lead events such as student induction
Support and facilitate the work of the Dental Outreach Team and the Dental Nurse Training programme
Work with the Central Clinical Governance Team and other PDSE staff to plan and manage DEF operations
Work with other DEF staff to ensure appropriate levels of consistency of operational delivery
Create an innovative, motivational and high performing working environment to best deliver services to patients and students

To have overall management responsibility for the delivery of care within an Early Intervention in Psychosis model of service delivery, in accordance with Trust policies and procedures. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the CYPMHS Access Team based at The Cove. The Access Team is looking to recruit a band 6 RMN/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist to complete holistic and comprehensive gatekeeping assessments for young people across the Lancashire and South Cumbria footprint.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be based at The Cove and would work across the Lancashire and South Cumbria footprint in various settings to undertake assessments of young people, including A&E, paediatric wards, police custody and home environments. You will join mental health act assessments for young people to provide gatekeeping assessments collaboratively to avoid young people experiencing repeated assessments.
The post holder will be required to undertake specialist CYPMH access (gatekeeping) mental health assessments (including clinical risk) with clinical and crisis interventions for young people presenting with acute and severe mental health episodes in critical situations.
Provide CYPMH access assessments across Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust for young people, aged 13 years to 18 years, to support the staff in the provision of planning, managing and evaluating specialised care.
To provide a specialist role in the co-ordination of care for young people and their families, who are residing in CYPMH inpatient services out of the Lancashire/South Cumbria area. Also, be aware of the national demand for CYPMH inpatient beds and reliably inform internal staff of any out of area admissions/need for specialist out of area beds.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will assume the role of Unit/Site Coordinator at least four times a month. They will provide unit management support and coordinate patient flow (bed management) outside of regular hours. Additionally, the Unit Coordinator will offer senior nursing support, professional leadership, and guidance in all clinical areas within the unit, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with service users, their carers, and other professionals.
The ideal candidate will have:

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Chorley Community Mental Health Team.The successful candidates will work with service users who have a diagnosis of Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) who are currently on CMHT caseloads. You will deliver Structured Clinical Management (SCM) to a caseload of service users within the community setting. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements are available upon discussion with the team.
SCM is recognised as the gold standard of care for people with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD). It is evidenced based and in line with NICE guidelines. SCM has been selected by the trust as the approach to implement within the personality disorder pathway. This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop specific skills in line with evidence-based treatment and be involved in providing support for service users to recover, develop autonomy and no longer require secondary mental health services.
Main duties of the job
As well as direct face to face contact with the service user and group work, it is expected that the post holder will be able to engage with the wider community system (A&E, police, inpatient and community settings) and support them to deliver evidence-based practice.
Supervision is an integral part of this job you will be supported with regular access to supervision on a consistent basis. Clinical supervision will be provided by the Specialist Practitioners.It is desirable to have some knowledge of SCM and also an interest in working with people with personality disorder.

We are seeking a clinically skilled, enthusiastic, and motivated Clinical Team Leader to join our Children and Young Peoples Inpatient Services at Pebble Lodge our CAMHS GAU.
The ward is a 10 bedded CAMHS Inpatient Unit providing innovative, high quality care to young people age 13-18 who are suffering from acute mental illness. The purpose of the ward is to offer comprehensive assessments and treatment so Service Users can have shorter stays in hospital.
As a Clinical Team Leader you will help lead the team providing high quality care to young people working in a supportive team to provide individual care to those within the unit in accordance with the integrated care programme approach. There will be activities where you will be required to assist in the organisation and be responsible for the safety and well-being of young people. You will be required to establish and develop effective liaison and communication with all disciplines, agencies, parents, carers and service users.
We provide in depth initial and on-going inductions, mandatory/personal training programmes, plus clinical and management supervision.
We are a 24-hour service and have a variety of shifts including full and part time hours to support your needs which can be discussed at interview:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated clinician to undertake a a new role as a Band 7 Clinical Team Manager within the Crisis Assessment Unit and Section 136 service at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. At a time when the service is undergoing review and development, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape and influence future service delivery, contributing to improved outcomes for individuals experiencing mental health crisis.
Crisis Assessment Unit (CAU), which is currently operating as a 6-bedded acute female ward, ensuring safe, effective, and integrated care across the crisis pathway. The s136 suite, health based place of safety is attached to CAU and is a 2 bedded suite. As Clinical Team Manager, you will provide clear, visible leadership to a multidisciplinary team of nurses and health support workers, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, responsive, and service user-focused service.
Working closely with the Clinical Operations Manager and wider senior leadership team, you will lead on clinical governance, service improvement, and the day-to-day operational management of the team within an evolving and demanding environment. The role requires strong leadership, sound clinical judgement, and the ability to effectively manage complex and high-risk situations, while maintaining a clear focus on quality, safety, and patient experience.
Main duties of the job
A key component of the role will be to work collaboratively alongside the Clinical Team Manager for the Street Triage Service, ensuring safe, effective, and integrated care across the crisis pathway. You will support cross-cover arrangements between services and play an active role within the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT), contributing to assessment, care planning, and decision-making across the whole pathway.
You will establish and maintain strong working relationships with a range of internal and external partners, including police, ambulance services, community teams, and the CRISS service, to ensure seamless care pathways and continuity of care across services.
