Job summary
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Research Practitioner at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, supported through the NIHR Imperial Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), to work on the Imperial Health Knowledge Bank (IHKB) and BRC NIHR BioResource projects.
IHKB is designed to become a rich and comprehensive resource of biosamples and longitudinal clinical data, and to offer our patients an opportunity to participate in clinical research.
The post holder will be required to have excellent communication skills, a confident and flexible attitude with the ability to work autonomously.
Experience of working in research within an NHS setting is desirable but not essential for this role, povided the candidates can display a strong passion to work in clinical research.
Main duties of the job
You will support the aims of the Trust and the NIHR clinical research network to improve the speed, quality, and integration of clinical research, through the successful delivery of clinical research in the NHS.
You will support the co-ordination of Imperial Health Knowledge Bank (IHKB) and NIHR BioResource, collaborating with key personnel throughout the trust and clinical research network.
The main focus of the role will be in supporting identification of suitable participants, recruitment and maintenance of study documentation on our unique data platforms.
The post holder will ensure that any research undertaken safeguards the well-being of research participants and is conducted to ICH Good Clinical Practice.

The role requires working autonomously in providing high quality assessments, reviews, treatment interventions, clinical advice and expertise to the wider MDT in supporting service users with severe and enduring mental illness.
You will be responsible for providing additional leadership and guidance to team members in risk assessment, risk management and positive problem solving and lead on debriefs following incidents.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Lead will work across the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and support the team manager in effective operation of the team by undertaking practice and professional lead responsibility for specified areas of care delivery.
To be responsible for the development and maintenance of effective clinical pathways between CMHT and other services
The take a leadership role to positively influence and improve the quality of clinical practice by providing support, supervision, educational and professional development opportunities for staff within the CMHT.
Develop confidence and competence within the team for managing complex clinical cases and issues
To take a lead role in the provision of clinical leadership and caseload supervision to the team. They will be expected to act as a positive role model in promoting clinical excellence

Applications are welcome for a Specialty Doctor in Adult Mental Health (AMH) working in the PICU located in The Willows at Highbury Hospital, Nottingham.
This is a fixed term post covering a secondment and comprises of 10 PAs, split into 8 Direct Clinical Care sessions and 2 Supporting Professional Activities sessions.
The end date for this post is: 19/07/2028
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
Main duties of the job
The Willows is a busy 10-bedded male ward. All doors are anti-barricade and the unit is accessed via an airlock. There is a seclusion room and a de-escalation area. Referrals are taken from the whole of the Nottinghamshire Healthcare catchment area. The team also gatekeep all PICU referrals, providing support and advice to the acute wards. There is a good level of staffing with shifts of 7:7:6 and 40% of staff are qualified. In addition to the band 5 nurses, there is a band 7 ward manager, 4 band 6 clinical team leaders and the remaining staff are band 2 and 3. The MDT also consists of a psychologist, input from the occupational therapy department and a full-time activity coordinator, a CT3 and when allocated an ST. We are supportive of staff development and have a Non-medical Prescriber, and a trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner.

Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to offer a Clinical Fellow / Locally Employed Doctor (LED) role aimed at anaesthetists who are passionate about their career and looking to join a close-knit, dynamic and experienced team to deliver anaesthetic and critical care services. The role is ideally suited to those trainees looking to develop their portfolio in order to re-enter training to achieve CCT or embark on a CESR programme.
If required the successful applicant will also benefit from the support from the College Tutor and a named Educational Supervisor to help achieve CT3/4 equivalent (stage 1 top up) training requirements where applicable.
All Trust appointed doctors are required to engage with continuing professional development guided by the Royal College of Anaesthesia. There is also a programme of mandatory training which all relevant staff must complete as required.
Main duties of the job
1. The post holder will be responsible to the consultants in anaesthetics/ intensive care, in the management of all patients.
2. The post-holder will be expected to:
Anaesthetise, and deliver all usual aspects of peri-operative care, under appropriate supervision. A combination of directly supervised and solo lists for service provision will be expected.
Participate in the on-call rota and have the experience to join the middle grade on call rota covering obstetrics or ICU or 1st on call (emergency theatres) as needed.
3. The post-holder will need to deputise from time to time, for absent colleagues, as far as this is consistent with above duties to cover short term sickness gaps.
4. The post-holder may occasionally be required to perform additional duties in emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
5. To undertake regular appraisal.
6. The post holder will be expected and encouraged to participate in clinical audit/QI and research activities and the implementation of clinical governance measures.
7. To attend departmental and governance meetings according to usual departmental practice.
8. Comply with all local policies including, annual and study leave policies.
9. To keep abreast of current knowledge for Continued Professional Development (CPD) and Continued Medical Education (CME) purposes.

The post holder will also offersupport for children and young people and their parents/carers, working both directly with patients/families and supporting, directing and educating other members of the wider multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen on NICU at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby for a Band 6 Neonatal Nurse.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running and safety of the ward, working closely alongside the ward manager and deputy. This will include allocation of nursing staff to care for the babies on the ward, acting as a role model for junior colleagues, being a resource for other staff and creating a ward environment of open and honest communication, where we display kindness and respect to one another. You will be responsible for the daily safety checks and for the initial escalation of safety concerns; staff shortfall, increasing dependency and acuity demands.
You will need expert knowledge and competence assessing and caring for babies with both chronic and acute illness and babies admitted to the ward for special care and intensive care. You will also need to support staff on the transitional care ward. You will be competent in caring for a critically ill baby and have knowledge of children's safeguarding. Excellent communication skills with parents, babies families and colleagues are essential.
This will be a rotational contract to cover days, nights, weekends and bank holidays on a temporary basis.

Staff from the Neonatal Unit also rotates to work in the 6 bedded Transitional Care based on the postnatal ward. This experience will further enhance your experience in nursing low risk special care babies who requires minimal medical intervention. Nurses working in the TCU will gain experience in managing a 6 bedded ward with the support of a neonatal support worker.

Job summary
The postholder is required to provide holistic midwifery care to services users across the antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum period within the Bicester Area and surrounding areas of Oxfordshire.We have a diverse caseload of service users within our catchment area. We provide care in the form of clinic appointments and home visits, so a driving license with appropriate insurance is essential. Our team also provide an on-call service (day and night on calls), where we facilitate community births across the county, supporting other teams as well as our own. We also support the Obstetric Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital as part of an escalation policy.
We are looking for a midwife who demonstrates kindness and compassion, and who is passionate about providing a gold standard of care. We have a very supportive team of midwives and support workers in Banbury, so adding to this nurturing atmosphere is essential.
Candidates must have an existing NMC with UK Midwifery experience and have completed their preceptorship in a UK hospital. They must be currently working at a Band 6 level
Main duties of the job
Full and Part Time hours are available. Must be a car driver and have access to a car during the day and for night on-calls. You will be required to work community on-call shifts during the day and night time.

The practice was established in the 1950s, the current premises were opened in 1970 and the practice has grown to now care for almost 10,000 patients. From here GP partners and salaried doctors provide high quality, traditional general practice care. The practice falls within the boundary of the NHS Thames Valley Integrated Care Board (ICB). The practice is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and obtained a report of Outstanding at the most recent review in June 2019.

Job summary
Caring for pregnant women who have underlying medical complexities, is an area of Midwifery practice that requires specialist knowledge and skills. We are, therefore, looking for an experienced, competent and enthusiastic Midwife to join our well-established Maternal Medicine and Preterm Birth team. The successful candidate will be expected to provide comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care within the hospital setting; in conjunction with the other Midwives and Doctors in the team, as well as the wider multi-disciplinary team.

To provide direct, woman-centred care during the antenatal and postnatal period; and have detailed clinical knowledge of this specialist area of Midwifery practice.
To work within our joint Maternal Medicine/Preterm Birth full-day clinic every Thursday; ensuring consistency and continuity of care for women with medically complex pregnancies and/or at increased risk of Preterm birth.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Central Norfolk Early Intervention in Psychosis team on a full-time, permanent basis as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. Main duties of the job
The job role with consist of the following, but is not limited to;
- Accepting and triaging all new referrals received by the team.
- To communicate /liaise effectively with relevant referring partners and other agencies.
- Arranging and carrying out initial assessments.
- Offering time to support the wider team with visits where specialist knowledge could be required
- Being part of the wider Senior Leadership Team and encouraging evidence based changes and processes across the service.
- To ensure that any identified immediate risks are appropriately responded to and a proportionate risk management strategy is actioned, with input from the multidisciplinary team members.

Our Mental Health Liaison team based at the James Paget University Hospital (JPUH) in Gorleston has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Older Adults to join their fantastic team on a permanent full time basis.
This role is there to provide expertise, support and advice to clinical practitioners regarding all aspects of clinical care support those attending the JPUH with new or ongoing mental health difficulties and illness; to identify their needs, ensuring these are met effectively whilst in hospital and to contribute towards timely/supportive discharge planning.

An opening has arisen for a full time role Senior Band 7 Learning Disabilities Nurse to join the CAMHS Learning Disability team in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

This year CATAT have been given the opportunity to expand the team with several different posts, some of which have already been filled. But we do have a post that has now become vacant for a CNS - this CNS needs to have their qualification of Non-Medical Prescriber as well as a Mental Health Nursing qualification.
CATAT who after our first year of being live (2023) was highly recommended for the Working Together for Better Mental Health at the staff excellence awards. Are looking for professionals that have a keen interest of working with CYP and their families, wanting to help them achieve better outcomes for their future and strive to keep them in the community.
The aim of our team is to prevent CYP from having inpatient admissions wherever possible, and to support them and their family in the community in a proactive way. The team will serve as a gateway in and out of Tier 4 (T4) provision. CATAT work alongside the core community teams as well as partner agencies to offer CYP increased/additional support.
CATAT have 2 main pathways:
Admission Avoidance - Least restrictive option, CYP who are already open to a core team but need a more intensive intervention to support their mental health needs. To prevent things from worsening and/or needing a hospital admission.
In-reach/Outreach - support to young people leaving inpatient settings (T4) to help them adjust back into life in the community.

The Palliative and End of Life Care Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist within Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is an experienced member of staff who works within a defined area of specialist nursing care, under guidance of the Lead Palliative and End of Life Care Nurse.
The Palliative and End of Life Care Senior CNS is a positive influencer within the Trust to enhance the patient and family experience. They have the expertise and highly developed skills to interpret and communicate specialty knowledge.
The post holder will support the delivery of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary service that is holistic in its approach; evidence based and meets the individual needs of the patients requiring Palliative and End of Life Care.

We are recruiting a full-time fixed term (24 months) Psychological Interventions Practitioner to join our Psychological Interventions (PI) Team, working with adults with learning disabilities across Worcestershire. We are looking for a registered professional who is skilled in positive behaviour support, with a passion for improving the lives of people with learning disabilities and their carers.
This is a fixed term post to provide cover for absence for specific purpose that we anticipate will be required for 24 months. We reserve the right to end this contract sooner with appropriate notice.

Our team includes clinical and counselling psychologists, behavioural specialists and an assistant practitioner and we are part of a wider multidisciplinary Community Learning Disability Team (CLDT). The team provides a safe and supportive environment to work in, encouraging team members to use their specialist skills creatively to meet our service-users complex needs. Our team meets regularly and we have a structured programme of CPD and reflective practice. There will be flexibility in agreeing a working pattern and official work-base, with some working from home.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will carry out evidence-based assessment and intervention for adults with learning disabilities who present with psychological and behavioural distress, holding a caseload of people with a range of needs. There will be an emphasis on Positive Behaviour Support and work will be with individuals, families and carers to improve their quality of life. The role will involve offering consultation to members of the MDT and other agencies as well as bespoke person-centred training.
The postholder will join the PI team in making referral decisions, reflecting on cases and contributing to team CPD. They will promote knowledge about well-being and positive mental health in people with learning disabilities and those who support them. As part of the PI team, they will represent the team in various forums in the wider learning disability service. They will have an individual development plan, which will identify other aspects of the post and we are happy to discuss this.
