An exciting opportunity has arisen within our ESR & Pay Services Team for a Payroll Officer to join our friendly and customer-focused team.

We are looking for a motivated individual with payroll experience to support the delivery of an accurate and timely payroll service. You will manage your own allocated section of the payroll, provide advice and guidance on payroll-related matters, and work closely with managers, employees and external organisations to resolve queries.

This role offers hybrid working, combining home and office-based working, with attendance required for training, meetings and service delivery needs.

The successful candidate will have previous payroll experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines. Experience of computerised payroll systems is essential, and experience of NHS payroll, ESR and NHS Pension Scheme processes would be advantageous.

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join our multidisciplinary team as a Specialist Nurse.

This role has been developed as part of our service sustainability and succession planning, supporting the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people and their families with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders.

The complex nature of these lifelong disorders requires specialist medical and nursing care. The Department of Health has acknowledged this with the publication of the health circular HSG (93) 30, which states that all people with haemophilia should have access to comprehensive care.

GOSH has the largest Haemophilia Comprehensive Care for children in the UK and is one of the five largest in Europe. We specialise in complications of haemophilia and other bleeding disorders such as the management of inhibitors. We also look after children with inherited thrombotic tendencies, which are less likely to cause problems before adulthood. The department receives referrals from other parts of south-east England and further afield in the UK.

The successful applicant will have support and opportunity to work closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) and medical teams within the department.

Main duties of the job

You will play a key role in supporting the Haemophilia - Bleeding Disorders service, contributing to:

o delivery of specialist nursing care to children and young people with bleeding disorders;

o supporting patient and family education, including home treatment and self-management;

o assisting the management of acute bleeding and urgent patient queries;

o supporting the inpatient nursing team when children and young people with bleeding disorders are admitted; and

o contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

To be considered for this role you must have current registration with the NMC and excellent CYP clinical skills. It is desirable to have demonstrable knowledge and experience within haemophilia - bleeding disorders. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Community Specialist Palliative Care Nurse to join our dedicated specialist palliative care service in Gloucestershire. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred centred care within a variety of community settings.

As a Community Specialist Palliative Care Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting patients with complex symptom management needs, enabling people to achieve their preferred place of care and supporting families through difficult and often life-changing circumstances.

Main duties of the job

You will work collaboratively with GPs, district nurses, hospital teams, hospices, care homes and wider health and social care partners to provide specialist advice, assessment and support for patients, and those important to them, who have complex symptoms and needs.

Job summary

We have seven modern theatres in Chelsea which includes three robotic theatres. We cover a wide range of specialties, including Sarcoma and Melanoma, Upper and Lower GI, Plastics, Head and Neck, Gynaecology, Urology and Breast, using a wide range of surgical techniques. Our theatres scrub team is trusted, skilled, hardworking and supportive, and we're looking for a motivated and experienced scrub nurse or experienced scrub ODP who can demonstrate leadership qualities and a real interest in high quality perioperative care to join us.

Main duties of the job

• To carry out in a responsible and efficient way, the nursing care for patients which have been drawn up in conjunction with the co-ordinator of the shift.
• As a member of the theatre team to perform all the tasks of a registered theatre nurse/ODP including resuscitation, scrub and circulation following all checks and procedures as laid down in National and Trust theatre policy. The post holder is expected to carry out all the relevant forms of care without direct supervision and is required to demonstrate procedures, supervise underqualified staff whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
• To be responsible for the safe use of complex scrub equipment (diathermy, laparoscopic, robotic etc). To demonstrate sound knowledge base of safe decontamination processes and practices, particularly relating to the safe decontamination of flexible scopes and sterilisation of instruments.
• Take on responsibilities for ordering stock and non-stock supplies and arranging timely servicing of this equipment, both routine and urgent.
• Support the continuing specialist professional development of all staff in Chelsea Theatres by acting as a role model and mentor, in conjunction with the specialist practice educators and Theatre sister/charge nurse.
• Provide high quality, individualised, evidence-based care to patients/clients and relatives/carers in collaboration with the multi-professional team, in line with the local and national targets.
