Job summary

We are looking for an organised, proactive and professional Band 3 Team Administrator to support our Liaison & Diversion and Reconnect services.

This is a varied role providing high-quality administrative support across busy criminal justice services working with people in police custody, courts, probation, prisons and the community.

You will help coordinate appointments, meetings, correspondence, records, data, reports and day-to-day team processes, while supporting managers and clinicians with key administrative tasks. You will also help maintain accurate information relating to activity, sickness, annual leave and service performance, and may act as a point of contact for colleagues, partner agencies and other services.

You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, confidence using Microsoft Office and electronic record systems, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, flexible and able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. This is an opportunity to support services that aim to reduce health inequalities, improve continuity of care and help people engage with the right support at key points in the criminal justice pathway.

Main duties of the job

The Team Administrator will provide high-quality administrative support across the Liaison & Diversion and Reconnect services, helping both teams to run smoothly, efficiently and professionally.

Key duties will include arranging meetings and appointments, preparing agendas and taking minutes, managing correspondence, maintaining accurate electronic records, supporting data collection and reporting, and responding to telephone and email enquiries. The postholder will also support day-to-day staff administration, including annual leave, sickness recording, training information and other workforce processes.

The role will involve regular liaison with clinicians, managers, police, probation, prison staff, other partner agencies and wider Trust services, ensuring information is communicated accurately and handled confidentially.

You will use Microsoft Office and electronic patient record systems to support service activity, maintain databases and produce routine reports. You will need to manage competing priorities, resolve routine queries using initiative and escalate issues appropriately.

The postholder will work closely with other administrative colleagues, provide cover when required, support new starters and contribute to improving administrative systems and processes across L&D and Reconnect.
